A VERY WET BUT MILD SUNNY MANILVA ON SATURDAY.

SATURDAY 4th/ MARCH 2017.

We all had a nice lie in this morning before the gas bottle delivery truck came down our street blowing his horn! Both the dogs have slept all night, ‘Charlie’ downstairs on the settees and ‘ Scruffy’ in his bed, we then wrapped up and braved the rain to take them for their first walk of the day, when we returned we dried the dogs off, ‘Charlie’ stands still on the towel, he loved the rain, well he is a ‘ Water Dog ‘! ‘ Scruffy ‘ does not like it and can’t wait to be dried.

We then all had our breakfasts, Scrambled Eggs & Crispy Smoked Bacon for Brenda and Fried Eggs & Crispy Smoked Bacon for me, all with lots of buttered toast and mugs of tea, ‘ Charlie ‘ had his tablet and then his breakfast and ‘ Scruffy’ picked a bit, see below my breakfast.

See below ' Miss Henny & Miss Penny ' over in Australia, they belong to Annette, Lyn's daughter and could be our next source of ' Campo Eggs '!

So as you gathered its rather wet this morning, as forecast, it looks like it’s in for the rest of the day, the cold wind has dropped so its mild at the same time, tomorrow we are getting back to normal, the sun will break through and it’s going warmer each day as the week goes on, watch this space.

See the the beach front this morning down in Sabinillas.

This evening for our supper we are having a large ‘ Grilled Entrecote Steak ‘ cooked on a very hot griddle plate ‘Med - Rare ‘- then left to rest before slicing it into fingers ‘ French’ style, garnished with seared Asparagus Spears & Button Mushrooms, finely sliced Green Beans and of course twice-cooked ‘ Frits ‘ – on Sunday we are now going to have my traditional  ‘ Lancashire Hotpot ‘

Over in the ‘ Premier League ‘ today Liverpool welcome Arsenal and then tomorrow Everton go down the MI to play Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are in Sunderland; over here in ‘ La Liga’ today Barcelona are at home to Celta Vigo and Real Madrid are at Eibar. The ‘National Hunt’ racing  comes from Doncaster & Newbury on ITV.

Last night we channel hopped and watched the Final of ‘ Mastermind ‘ when a lady won, at her fourth attempt, with her excellent General Knowledge, we then found a film to follow over on ‘ TVE1’

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
