A VERY WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY;

TUESDAY 7th/ MARCH 2017.

I was up first this morning to see ‘ Reina’ back with us for the day, she shot into her duvet, we had a ‘ Helluva’ night as ‘ Charlie’ had one of his ‘ Epiletic Fits’ as 5-00am – he has a daily tablet to keep him well, this is only the second time that its happened when he’s been with us, ‘Scruffy ‘ was in his bed next to ‘ Charlie’ who was on the mat on the floor next to Brenda, ‘Scruffy’ was startled as ‘ Charlie ‘ was moaning, his eyes were gone and he can’t stand, he shakes a lot at the same time, Brenda jumped out and went on the floor with him, she talks to him and gives him lots of love and keeps him as settled as possible, it takes nearly 30 minutes for him to come round, meanwhile ‘ Scruffy ‘ was very concerned and kept coming to see how he was, he didn’t take his eyes off him! He’s now fine and back to his normal self, he later jumped on the bed on top of me to tell us it was time to go out!!

We then went for our first walk of the day around the village, when we returned we treated ourselves to ‘ Crispy Smoked Bacon Butties ‘ with mugs of steaming tea, it sounds like ‘ Scruffy’ could be going home later today , we are waiting to hear from Rose, ( just confirmed !) ‘Charlie’ is being collected tomorrow evening when Brian & Jan return from the UK, ‘Reina’ is with us for the rest of the week up to Thursday.

On this morning’s  ‘Breakfast Show ‘ on ‘ Castle Radio FM 89.2 & WWW on the Internet ‘ Andrew gave me a mention and played a track from my playlist, ‘Nine Below Zero ‘ with their classic “ Three Times Enough “ which features a harmonica solo by ‘Bill Boy Miskimmin ‘ – he then announced that I will be back on ‘AIR –LIVE’ shortly with my ‘Sir Malcolm’s Classic Sessions ‘ on Saturday lunchtimes, watch this space.

This morning it was hot already when we went out for our walk, the sun was out early and the sky is bright blue, there is no breeze and we are in for more of the same for the rest of the week and over the weekend, getting a little warmer as the week goes on, back to normal for the time of the year, another glorious day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol ‘ and in sunny Manilva, watch this space.

At lunchtime we went up to ' Bar Rojas ' and sat under the ' Sonbajo' in the very hot sunshine, we had a very nice mixed  'Tapas' lunch with cold drinks as the world passed by.

For supper this evening we are having ‘ Grilled Gammon Steaks ‘ topped with a Fried Egg, garnished with seared Button Mushrooms, Garden Peas and twice-cooked ‘ Chips’ on the side, of course ‘HP’ Brown sauce as well! Tomorrow I’m going to make my special ‘ Chicken Curry’ with Brenda’s famous ‘ Basmati ‘ Rice. Thursday is TBC and then on Friday we are going to pick up a ‘ Fish n’ Chip ‘ supper from ‘ Marlows’ on the way home from the hospital after my appointment with the ‘Anestesia’ Consultant.

After a late supper last night we caught the next episode of ‘ Broadchurch’ on ITV, the suspects are piling up, the ex-husband washing his clothes, the husband of the best friend with lots of condoms, the nasty shop owner, his daughter is a junior detective on the case, the taxi driver with a dodgy radio, a character from the last series with mental problems, the young fishing twine heir etc, the victim is hiding something, online dating & swinging ? - where was she for two days after the rape, meanwhile the two main Detectives have family problems to deal with, five more episodes to go, watch this space.

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
