A WARM, FRESH & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 26^th/ SEPTEMBER 2017.

I was up early this morning to welcome back little princess ‘ Reina’ for the day, she shot upstairs and into her duvet, she’s back with us tomorrow and Thursday, then next week we are ‘ Doggy Free ‘ here in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ – back to normal the following week, there is still no sign of ‘ Chispa’ returning from her holidays down in the family ‘Campo’ Watch this space.

After our regular breakfast of ‘ Weetabix’ toast & tea we sorted ourselves out for the day ahead, at lunchtime we are going down to Sabinillas for some messages before going along to the ‘Sotogrande Marina’ to meet Kelvin & Gaye at the ‘ KE’ Bar for a light ‘Tapas’ lunch and catch up, they arrived last night and checked into the ‘ Maritimo Hotel’ on the quay, their room, in Kelvin’s words is ‘ Amazin’!

We had a very nice lunch sat outside under the umbrellas in the extremely hot sunshine, we had a good, long catch up with all their news, as usual the ' KE' Bar was on form with a fine selection of hot & cold Tapas, as we took in the sights & sounds of the best marina on the coast.

PS; Thanks for the card and the ' Bacardi ' for the spirit cupboard ! 

PPS; Brenda also found time to spot a new top in the local  Fashion Boutique 'La Moda' -  on the 50% discount rail !!

Yesterday Sandra & Bill were out & about in Madrid, taking in the sights, sounds and the food & drink, it was perfect sunny day in the city, today they are moving on to Cuenca, it’s a Historic Walled Town with steep cobbled streets and medieval castle ruins, it’s most famous for it’s well-preserved “ Casas Colgadas – Hanging House “ cantilevered over the gorge, they have an apartment booked for the night.

We have not heard from the ‘ Moffatt’s’ – Tim & Thea, since they set off on their travels, we were last in touch on Sunday via ‘Facebook Messenger’ as they were crossing the ‘Bay of Biscay’ on the ferry to Santander, they should by now be settled into the site at the foot of ‘Mojacar Pueblo’ in their new caravan that was being delivered from Northern Spain, above Barcelona, on the back of a carrier! Watch this space.

We have another very pleasant day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – the sun broke through earlier and the sky has cleared, there is a light breeze and by lunchtime it’s due to reach 30/31 degs, sadly tomorrow it’s now forecasting ‘ Rain’?! It’s blown in from an surprise ‘Atlantic’ storm, the good news, on this afternoons forecast, is that it's going to be blown over by the 'Levante' breeze, keeping us dry, the rest of the week and over the weekend is then back to normal, warm & sunny hovering in the mid 20s, next week, when all the folks are here is now looking settled, dry, warm & sunny in the mid to high 20s, watch this space.

Tomorrow morning we are off across to the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’ past Marbella for my appointment with the ‘ Prostate Consultant ‘ for my six month review/check up, on the way back we have some messages to take care off, then tomorrow evening we are going out for supper with Kelvin & Gaye to our old favourite restaurant ‘ San Rafael ‘ on the coast road past Sabinillas for a traditional ‘ Spanish’ meal as requested by Kelvin. Watch this space.

Last night after supper we caught the next episode of ‘Liar’ on ITV, it appears that the dashing doctor is not all that he appears after all! There is more to the death of his wife’s suicide, in a flashback to the ‘ attack’ on the teacher victim he was seen slipping a drug into her glass of wine, when her back was turned, it then got even more sinister when she returned to home to her flat to discover that he had been inside and left her missing earring on the ear of her toy bunny! He is also planning to sue her for defamation, all this happened as his son’s young girlfriend took some tablets and aborted her baby, he helped in the cover up at the hospital so that her father would not send her away, the teacher/victim also told lies in the cover up! Are you following?! 

A ‘Head’ teacher from her past turned up and told the police and the doctor that she has made the same allegation about him in the past, it turned out that the ‘ creep ‘ was not telling all the truth, but the police swallowed his story and dropped the case! There are three more episodes to go so we are in for more twists & turns before the truth is out, watch this space.



Just before our supper this evening our new friends Dean & Donna called in to see us, they have moved down to a new apartment down in Duquesa village,we had a nice catch up with all our news

and theirs, as well as a couple of cool drinks,they are very helpful and offered to help with anything we need over the next week, thanks!
