A FRESH, WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 20^th/ SEPTEMBER 2017.

We had a little lie in this morning as ‘ Reina’ was not being dropped off by Daniela until later, she’s back with us next week for three days, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, the following week we are of course on ‘ Holiday’ for the week, yesterday afternoon ‘ Chico’ was booked in for a week’s holiday at the start of February 2018, there is still no sign of ‘Chispa’ coming back off her holidays down at the families ‘ Campo’ Watch this space.

After breakfast I made this evenings supper, a ‘ Casserole of Sliced Beef Entrecote ‘ in a rich Red Wine, Mushroom & Onion/Shallot’ sauce, Brenda is making her famous ‘ Mashed Potato’ to go in the oven this evening with the Casserole, we are also having Glazed Carrot Batons, Cabbage & Garden Peas, tomorrow evening it will be the rest of the Casserole with Baby New Potatoes in their skins!

We have another very pleasant morning, the sun is out and the sky is blue with a few light clouds, there is a little breeze, it’s due to reach 25/26 degs by this afternoon, the rest of the week and over the weekend is the same hovering in the mid 20s, next week it’s going to be the same, sadly on the three week forecast its’ now showing a possibility of some of the ‘ Wet Stuff ‘ when we are on holiday with all the folks, but still remaining in the mid/high 20s?!  Watch this space.

See below some pictures of another cruise liner berthed at the Pier Head yesterday and William Brown Street (cobbled) - over the weekend, with the Library, Museum and Walker Art Gallery, in the centre of Liverpool.

And today the ' Albatross ' !

Next week we will be out & about on the ‘ Costa Del Sol ‘ – on Wednesday I have my six month review/check up with my ‘Prostate ‘ Consultant across at the hospital past Marbella, on Thursday morning I’m arranging for the car to be ‘ Steam Cleaned’ etc at the new garage that has opened down outside ‘Puerto de la Duquesa’ – then on Friday morning/lunchtime we will be out for the weekly shopping and checking/stocking with a (Welcome Pack etc) at the apartment at the ‘Manilva Green Aparthotel’ ready for the arrival of Sandra & Bill on Saturday morning, on Friday evening we are going across to the ‘H 10 Estepona Palace’ to welcome Norah & Jenny back to sunny Manilva/Estepona!

Then it all ‘ Kicks Off ‘ as we are on holiday for seven days, Saturday evening at ‘Restaurante Macues ‘ and  ‘Kokomo ‘ on Sunday before a ‘ Helluva’ week out & about on the ‘ Costa Del Sol ‘ and Andalucia with the folks!!

PS; We have just received an E-Mail from Kelvin & Gaye, our very dear friends, Kelvin was our very loyal Assistant Manager at the ' Hotel Seventy Degrees' for many years, they are arriving here next Monday, for a short break, and are staying at the ' Maritimo Hotel ' in Sotogrande Marina, they have come over to deliver my birthday card in person!! 

NB, There will be no ‘ Blog’ for the week we are on holiday as I will not have the time to type/post it, a catch up with all the news and pictures will follow later.
