A FRESH, WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 23^rd/ AUGUST 2017.

No ‘ Reina’ again this morning as Daniela had to change shifts and is working from home, she will be back with us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven ‘ tomorrow, hopefully. ‘Chispa’ is in & out all the time, we hear her coming up the street, with the little bell on her new collar, if I’m up in the office/studio she shoots upstairs to see me!

For our breakfast this morning we had Toasted Sausage Butties smothered in ‘ HP’ Brown sauce with mugs of ‘ PG Tips’ I then made this evenings supper ‘ Chicken & Mushroom Curry ‘ which we will have with Brenda’s famous ‘ fluffy’ Basmati Rice, Garden Peas & sliced Bananas.

It’s another very pleasant day here in sunny Manilva, the sun broke through earlier and the sky has cleared, there is a little ‘ Levente’ breeze blowing up off the Mediterranean, it will reach 28/29 degs later, tomorrow is going to be a little hotter, then over the weekend it’s staying the same but with the threat of some of the wet stuff at the start of next week, watch this space.

I have started using the exercise bike in the chill-out room, after typing & posting the Blog, I’ve started on the lowest tension setting and just for 10/15 mins, I will build up the tension & time slowly, the new fan makes it rather comfortable, watch this space.

Over in the ‘ Vuelta a Espana 17’ Chris Froome retained the race leaders‘ Red Jersey’ – today’s hilly ‘Stage 5’ goes from Benicassim to Alcossebre over 175 kms.

We are taking things very easy, at the moment, doing nothing, because we can, Brenda is reading a little, we still have our ‘ Happy Hour ‘ cocktails, but not every day, on Friday I will be out on my travels down to Sabinillas for the weekly shopping after arranging my Blood tests down at the surgery, the other day Brenda popped into the Town Hall and found out that they are taking bookings for the new Chiropodist, so I’m going to try and book an appointment ASAP! Watch this space.
