A VERY HOT & CLAMMY SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY  31st / JULY 2018. !

I was up early this morning to welcome back little princess ‘Reina’ for the only day this week, she, as usual, shot upstairs onto her duvet and settled down, ignoring the other dogs, as usual! ‘Prince Paddy’ spent the night on the floor, meanwhile ‘ Lex Baby’ kept on the move, upstairs & down stairs, this morning they both ended up on the bed, we then had a quick freshen up before taking ‘Paddy & Lex’ for their first walks of the day, keeping in the shade, as the breeze has dropped, when we returned we had our normal light breakfast of ‘ Weetabix’ toast & tea, see below a quick picture taken with my Mobile phone of ‘Lex Baby’ waiting for her breakfast!

PS; Last night when we all went up to bed, Brenda’s slippers were missing?!  We soon found the ‘ culprit’ – as ‘Lex Baby’ had hidden them by her bed, downstairs!!

This morning has started very hot & clammy, as the ‘Poienenta' breeze has dropped, the sky is bright blue and the Mediterranean is sparkling, by lunchtime it will be 31 degs+ - tomorrow will be a little cooler and then we are in for a couple of days of patchy clouds, the weekend of the ‘ Noche Del Embrujo’ Festival’ is now looking very warm & sunny, with a very light breeze, which is good news as there are lots of Candles & naked flames! Next week is now looking very hot & sunny, in the low to mid 30s, watch this space.

See below the ‘ new’ beach in Colwyn Bay, looking towards the  Rhos-On Sea end and a spectacular picture of the ‘Anglican Cathedral’ in Liverpool, looking across to the River Mersey, to the Wirral and on the horizon North Wales!

Speaking of Colwyn Bay & North Wales, the picture below shows Tim & Thea’s daughter Jo and her friend, Heather, have reached Bolivia on their South American adventure, it shows them at the salt flats at Uyuni,  at over 5400 m! – Very cold and lacking oxygen!!

For our supper this evening we are having a ‘ Roast Chicken’ from ‘ Mercadona’ – portioned and served cold, with a selection of various salads, with some Parsley New Potatoes, on Wednesday evening it’s going to be ‘ Chicken n’ Chips’ in the Basket! Thursday is going to be a well deserved ‘ Day-Off’ for the ‘ Head Chef and his Staff’!

This afternoon/evening we will be watching the various  “ Quiz “ shows that we follow, back in the old routine, ‘ Countdown, The 1000K Drop, The Chase, Impossible, Eggheads & University Challenge’ – after supper we will channel hop to find something to watch.

See below a spectacular picture of the ' Blood Moon' over the new bridge in Cadiz!

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
