A VERY CLOSE & HOT SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 19th/ JULY 2018.

We had another little lie in this morning after a very hot & sticky night for all of us, ‘Paddy’ kept his cool on the floor before joining us on the bed this morning, after a quick shower, I’m having mine later, we went out for our first walk of the day, keeping to the shady side of the street, as this morning there is not a breath of air, he’s full of energy as we head off, when we come home he follows me everywhere and is at my feet as I’m typing/posting the Blog, later he joins me on my knee to ‘ proof-read it!

Later today a new dog is joining us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven ‘ – ‘ Comeboy’ – for a short  5 day break, they have already met, as usual, ‘ Chispa’ is in & out all the time to see all her friends, as well as us, and joins us on our walks when she can!

NB; ‘ Comeboy’ is now arriving this morning.

The ‘ Council’ have just dropped off all the staging for the ‘ Flamenco Fashion Show’ on Sunday evening, still no sign of any other work by the ‘ Contactors’ so far this morning. Brenda has just popped along to the Chemists for some of our prescription tablet. The ‘Council’ have a long-last brightened up the underpass to the ‘Puerto de la Duquesa Marina’

See below;

After our regular light breakfast we sorted ourselves out, Brenda is pottering and I’m up in the office/studio on the ‘ WWW’ – later typing/posting today’s Blog. Tomorrow morning I have my appointment with our Doctor, Natalia, for a review/check up etc, after last week’s visit to the local Hospital in Estepona, at the same time she is reviewing my ‘B12’ injections programme,  then on Friday morning I’m back out on my travels, down to Sabinillas for the weekly shopping, watch this space.

As I said above this morning it’s very hot & sunny with not a breath of air, so it’s sticky & clammy, all ready, by lunchtime it’s due to reach 32 degs+- the rest of the week is getting warmer, day by day, over the weekend it’s staying the same, next week we are in for ‘ hot-one’- watch this space.

For our supper this evening we are having ‘ Grilled Gammon Steaks ‘ garnished with seared Pineapple Rings & Button Mushrooms and topped with a ‘ Campo’ Fried Egg! – served with Garden Peas & twice-cooked ‘ Frits’ – not forgetting the ‘HP’ Brown sauce. Tomorrow evening as it’s the  ‘ Head Chefs & Staff ‘ night off we will be hitting, again’ the ‘ Night-Life & Bars & Restaurants’ of sunny Manilva ( Bar Castillo!)

This afternoon we will be watching ‘ Stage 11’ of the “ Tour de France “ in the Alps, from Albertville to La Rosiere over just 108 kms, but with 4 climbs to a mountain top finish!

See the route map below;

Later this evening after supper we will be channel hopping to find something to watch.

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
