ANOTHER VERY MILD & SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY;

WEDNESDAY 8th/ FEBRUARY 2017.

I was up first to welcome back ‘ Reina’ for the day, she shot into her duvet, we then got ourselves freshened up before breakfast, we had two Swedish ladies calling in to see us with their two dogs, they were recommended by a friend to come and see us, they have just moved into an apartment in the village before buying a house in the area, on the way down from Sweden they were robbed outside Alicante and lost all their documents etc, they have to go to Madrid to their Embassy,  so we are going to look after the two dogs at the end of the month for 3/4 days, a ‘Jack Russell & a Golden Labrador, for the last 8 years they have owned and run a hotel in Thailand! Watch this space.

I then got this evenings supper on the go ‘ Chicken & Mushroom Tarragon Casserole’ which we are having with finely sliced Green Beans and Parsley new Potatoes.

We have another perfect day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – the sun was out early, the sky is bright blue & there are no clouds or breeze, by lunchtime it will reach 20degs, again, tomorrow will be the same before the cold ‘ Atlantic’ front hits us on Friday morning, I’m going to get a little wet when I’m out on my travels for the shopping! Watch this space.

At lunchtime we went up to 'Bar Rojas' for a cool drink and  some ' Tapas' - sat in the hot sunshine, we met a nice couple, Allan & Julia, who are here for two months staying at their family apartment, so we had good chat and gossip about the village!

Tomorrow morning we are up early as we are going across to the ‘ Costa del Sol Hospital’ past Marbella for my special ‘Prostrate’ X-Ray, on the way back we are going to call into the ‘La Cañada ‘ shopping mall behind Marbella for some retail therapy!

Yesterday afternoon/evening we watched the regular  ‘Quiz Shows’ before later channel hopping, not a particular good evening on any of the channels.

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
