A BEAUTIFUL CRISP AND WARM DAY HERE IN SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 6^th/ FEBRUARY 2017.

I was up first this morning to see little princess ‘ Reina’ back with us for the day here in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ – this week she’s here for four day as we are out at the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’ on Thursday morning for my special ‘ ‘Prostrate X-Ray’ – on the way back we are going to call into ‘La Cañada ‘ above Marbella, for some retail shopping. After our normal breakfast we sorted ourselves out for the week ahead.

Tomorrow morning I’m dropping Brenda down at the main surgery in Sabinillas for her blood test, I will shoot back up to the house to see ‘Reina’ back with us and then go back down to Sabinillas to collect Brenda, on Thursday my appointment at the hospital is early, on Friday morning I will be out on my travels for the weekly shopping.

This morning is back to normal for the time of the year, the sky is bright blue, there is no wind and the sun was out early, it’s clear & crisp and very mild, by lunchtime it will be warm in the sunshine, the rest of the week is looking settled with more of the same weather, the weekend has now also cleared, but there is still the threat of a little of the wet stuff on Friday,watch this space.

Just a little bit of nostalgia today, see below the pictures of the ' Runcorn Transporter Bridge ' in action, I used to come back on it with my dad, Tommy Sexton on our bikes after going around 'Delamere Forest' - we went on the cycle path by the side of the railway bridge on the way out from Widnes!

At lunchtime we went up to ' Bar Castillo' for a cool drink and a light ' Tapas' lunch, we sat outside in the warm afternoon sunshine on a glorious day in sunny Manilva.

For our supper this evening we are having the rest of the ‘ Smoked Chicken & Three Green Bean Risotto ‘ – on Tuesday it’s going to ‘ Grilled Gammon Steaks’ with all the trimmings and then on Wednesday I will make the ‘ Dish of the Day ‘ – watch this space.

Last night after supper we watched the third episode of ‘ Apple Tree Yard’ – the final episode is this evening, the main characters life was turned upside down as she was arrested for murder, her husband is standing by her, her lover was also arrested and charged with the murder, it turned out that he kicked to death the rapist, she denies everything, the lover was never a ‘ Spook-Spy’ as she thought, the Court Room drama this evening will be gripping, Emily Watson is mesmerising and tonight the prosecuting QC is played by Francis Tomelty, another great actor, watch this space.
