A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY;

WEDNESDAY 15th/ FEBRUARY 2017.

We managed a little lie in this morning as ‘ Reina’ is not with us for the day as we are going across to the hospital past Marbella this afternoon for Brenda’s two appointments, firstly with the ‘ Heart ‘ consultant and then the ‘ Kidney ‘ consultant, ‘Chispa’ called in, as usual, and stayed around for a little while, we then treated ourselves to ‘Smoked Bacon Butties’ smothered in ‘HP Brown ‘ sauce with mugs of steaming ‘ PG Tips’

This morning the sun was out early, the sky is cloudless and bright blue, there is no breeze so it’s mild, later it’s due to reach 18/19degs again, in the sunshine it will be warm, back to normal for the time of the year, the rest of the week and over the weekend is going to be more of the same, watch this space.

See below a picture taken this morning of the ‘ Duquesa’ marina and yesterday of the promenade in Llandudno, for a change, it looks like there are surfers/sharks but in fact they are seagulls, all the hotels are looking very grand especially the ‘ Imperial Hotel ‘ in the middle/right of the picture ( Grey paint!) - the manager ‘ Jeff Lofthouse’ ( a good friend ) has been in charge for over 30 years!

This evening for our supper we have nothing planned, so far, so we will just find a light snack when we return, tomorrow evening it’s going to be ‘ Grilled Chicken Wings ‘ – the weekends menus are yet to be discussed, possibly ‘ Roast Lamb ‘ on Sunday,  watch this space.

Yesterday evening after supper we found a good film to watch “ 8mm “ from 1999, an American crime mystery thriller directed by Joel Schumacher and starring Nicolas Cage as a private investigator who delves into the world of ‘ snuff ‘ movies, with a young Joaquin Phoenix and the late James Gandolfini.

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
