A CLEAR & DRY SUNNY MANILVA ON SUNDAY;

SUNDAY 5^th/ FEBRUARY 2017.

We managed a nice lie in this morning before the church bells started calling the ‘Faithfull’!  After a quick freshen up we then had breakfast, ‘ Fried Eggs & Crispy Smoked Bacon ‘ with buttered toast and tea. We are having a nice quiet day doing nothing, because we can, later we are going down to the ‘ Council Chamber’ next to the Police Station to vote in the first ever ‘ Open Vote’ for residents in Manilva on the suggested change to this year’s ‘ Feria - Fair ‘ – Three separate ones or the normal one on the ‘ Rastro Ground’ – “ YES or N0 “ ?! Watch this space.

Overnight the wind got up and we had heavy rain, it’s cleared now and the sky is blue, there is just a little stiff breeze and the sun is breaking through, by lunchtime it will be warm & sunny, reaching 19/20degs again! Next week is looking dry & settled but by next weekend we have yet another ‘ Atlantic’ front coming in making it a little colder and damp, watch this space.

At lunchtime after voting we are going to have a ‘ Tapas’ lunch out at one of the local ‘ Bars ‘ before coming back to watch the ‘ Six Nations Rugby Union’ as Italy welcome Wales, yesterday Scotland beat Ireland and England just about beat France, over in the ‘ Premiere League’ Everton won 6-3 with ‘Lukaku’ scoring four goals, sadly Liverpool lost at Hull, the lowest team in the league, 2-0  - they can’t score or defend – which is rather important in football!!

PS; Wales have just won!

We ended up at the new ' Bar la Pedreta ' for a nice drink and some very nice assorted 'Tapas'- very good value.

Last night after supper we watched the next episode of ‘ Taboo’ – it started with a ‘Duel ‘ on an Island in the middle of the Thames, the two main characters were not shot but somebody was killed?! The ‘ Crown’ with this week ‘ George 1V’ gorging himself on an ostrich egg, ‘The East India Company’ chairman swearing a lot and the ‘American’ Government spies, all up to ‘ dirty tricks’ The strange sister was exorcised but still writhes in agony or ecstasy?! The main character only killed one person this week, by cutting his throat and heart, he did cut of some ones thumb later? Oh and yes there is a mad man making ‘Gunpowder ‘ with the main characters young son?! Watch this space.
