A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 8^th/ MAY 2017.

I was up first this morning to welcome back little princess ‘ Reina’ for the day, she’s with us for the rest of the week up to Friday, she shot into her duvet and we then all had a little lie in before getting the day on the go.

We have no plans or appointments this week so it’s just the weekly shopping down in Sabinillas on Friday morning, the work on the car repairs is starting this morning but we don’t know when it will be ready, watch this space.

As we were freshening up the ‘ Skype’ video came online from Melbourne, it was Jack & Lyn, they have managed to sort the problem out with their system, we had a nice long ‘ catch up ‘ with all their news, they have been busy with all the family celebrations for birthdays, anniversaries etc, they are both very well, the weather over in Australia is starting to change, they had their heater on for the first time,  there is a letter in the post to Jenny!

We then had our breakfast, ‘ Crispy Smoked Bacon Butties’ – open for Brenda – with mugs of steaming tea, we have sorted the menu’s for the next few days, this evening we are having Cold Smoked Ham with ‘ Campo’ Fried Eggs & twice-cooked ‘ Frits’ – on Tuesday it’s going to be a ‘ Calves Liver & Sausage Onion Casserole’ with the rest of the ‘ Boulangere’ Potatoes, and on Wednesday I’m making a ‘Beef Curry’ with Basmati Rice!

We have another glorious day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol ‘ this morning, the sun was out early and the sky has cleared, there is no breeze so it’s warm & sunny, due to reach 24/25 degs over the next couple of days, as forecast, we are then in for three very wet days, as an ‘ Atlantic ‘ storm hits all of Spain, then on Saturday it’s back to normal, warm & sunny over the weekend, then getting hotter the following week, watch this space.

Last night before supper Lee installed the new ‘ Amazon Fire TV Stick ‘ onto our large screen TV, he then sorted out all the online protocols on the system, upstairs in the office, we now have all the UK channels, back live, as well as the ‘ BBC I Player & ITV Hub ‘ and an excellent film channel, we are going to watch later today the latest ‘ Bond Movie ‘ – “ Spectre “ – it’s a little complicated to use, I’m practising with the very small & quick remote control pad, watch this space.

I’m still going to chase up the ‘ Fiber Optic ‘ system being installed and then renegotiate the Internet & Land line contract, we are then going to use the ‘ Skype Landline’ system to make the weekly calls to Jenny & Norah over in the UK, it cost a lot less than using the landline, watch this space.

Next on the agenda Lee & Daneila are going to help us with changing all our ‘Pensions’ payments to a better system via our old existing bank account, back in Colwyn Bay, giving us a better rate of exchange, on the day, via a ‘Transfer Payment’ system, watch this space.

So we have a nice week ahead, relaxing, reading, watching new films and keeping dry in the middle of the week.
