A VERY WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 16^th/ MAY 2017.

I was early this morning and shot off on my travels down to Sabinillas for some last minute shopping as Daniela is joining us for supper on Wednesday, I then stooped at our Bank for some cash before coming back up to the village on the back road so as I could call into the garage, Pedro is fixing the back electric window motor and then dropping the car off later this evening. Brenda saw ‘ Reina’ back with us for the day, ‘Chispa’ has been in & out all weekend.

We have another glorious day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol ‘ – the sun was out early and the sky is already bright blue, there is a little breeze making it very pleasant, all week its staying warm & sunny in the mid 20 s – in parts of inland ‘Andalucia’ it will reach the mid 30 s! Over the coming weekend it’s getting hotter and next week we are in for more of the same, watch this space.

This evening for our supper we are keeping things simple, ‘ Cold Smoked Ham ‘ with ‘ Campo’ Fried Eggs, Garden Peas & sautéed thick-cut slices of  Baked Potato. On Wednesday evening, when Daniela is joining us, I’m making my now famous ‘ Smoked Chicken & Three Green Bean Risotto’ garnished with Button Mushrooms, with Broccoli Florets & Seared Asparagus Spears on the side, to start we are having a small selection of ‘Tapas’ and for dessert Fresh Fruit.

Today the ‘ Moffatt’s’  –Tim & Thea, are due to get on the ferry in Bilbao back to Portsmouth after their extended ‘ Winter Break’ down her in Sunny Spain, safe journey and we look forward to seeing you back in Spain in September.

This evening, Mario Jnr, the Mayors son, is coming to the house to practise speaking English, his conversation is getting better, he’s back with us on Thursday.

This morning ‘ Castle Radio FM – 89.2 & online of the WWW ‘ came back on air, it’s been off for a week as there has been major electric supply problems down in ’ Castillo de la Duquesa’ – Andrew was presenting his regular ‘eponymous’ Breakfast Show ( Monday to Friday ) I sent in a request, welcoming him back, asking him to play ‘ Shine On Me ‘ by Dan Auerbach – a ‘ Helluva’ track!

He announced that I will be back on air, soon, live, from my studio here in sunny Manilva, with my programme “ Sir Malcolm’s Classic Saturday Session “ - in the meantime I’m taking part in a live outside broadcast on Saturday 27^Th May,  with an hour slot, watch this space for more details, I’m working on producing the playlist later today with the help of my Co-Producer ‘ Lady ‘ Brenda!
