A NOW DRY & GETTING WARMER SUNNY MANILVA ON FRIDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEKEND.

FRIDAY 12^th / MAY 2017.

I was up early this morning and shot off on my travels down to Sabinillas for the weekly shopping, I collected the car from the garage yesterday evening after all the repairs had been completed, bar one, it looks like a new car after the new wing and re-spray on the other, one of the electric windows still needs fixing, Pedro is seeing to it on Monday, meanwhile back at the house Brenda saw ‘Reina’ back with us for the day, until later this evening.

I did the main shop in ‘ Mercadona ‘ and when I came out I got drowned, I had left my waterproofs in the car as it was dry & sunny, it was a heavy rain storm that only lasted for half an hour, by the time I was home it had stopped, I called into the ‘ English Bookshop’ for the local ‘English’ newspapers and a ‘ Congratulations Card’ for Daniela, she has passed her final financial exams, the ‘FT NED Diploma ‘ I then shot along the promenade to the local market for the fresh flowers before stopping at  ‘Super Sol’ for the ‘English’ essentials, back at the house ‘ Chispa’ was waiting to say hello!

Yesterday stayed dry, not as forecast, in fact by the afternoon it was warm & sunny, overnight stayed ‘ rain-free ‘ – it was cloudy & overcast to start this morning, the last of the ‘ Atlantic’ storm hit us, a little bit more later, which has just hit us, then by tomorrow morning we will be back to normal as the ‘ Terral’ wind blows in the warm & hot weather front over the weekend and into all of next week, 25/27 degs & rising, watch this space.

For our supper this evening we are having ‘ Posh Fish & Chips’ – Grilled ‘ Fillets of Hake a la Menuniere’ with diced, twice-cooked ‘ Chips ‘ and Garden Peas, Homemade ‘ Tartar’ sauce on the side; on Saturday it’s going to be ‘  Steak au Poivre ‘ with a ‘ French-trimmed’ Entrecote Steak, whole Baby Green Beans and of course twice-cooked ‘ Frits’ – then for Sunday we are still discussing the menu options, watch this space.

This evening after supper we will watch the Final of ‘Master Chef ‘ on BBC I, last night the lady that we thought would win was eliminated ?! Later we will catch the ‘ Graham Norton Show ‘ before ‘ Later-Live,with Jools Holland’
