A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON FRIDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEKEND.

FRIDAY 5th/ MAY 2017.

We were both up again this morning, I was picked up by Mano, as our car is in the garage, for repairs after a little bump in the heavy rain last Friday, Brenda saw ‘ Reina’ back with us for the last time this week, she’s back to normal next week, for five days, ‘Chispa’ has been in & out all morning.

I called into the ‘English Bookshop’ in Sabinillas to post a birthday card ( who?) and pick up the local newspapers, I then did the main weekly shop in ‘ Mercadona’ before coming back up to the village to unload at the house.

See below the new footbridge at ‘La Noria/Lidl’ this morning.

On the way up we called into our local garage, the ‘ Insurance Assessor’  had called in to check the car, so Mano took me back down to our Bank in Sabinillas and I sorted out the necessary payment ( Ouch!!) back at the garage. Thanks Mano!

See the beach this morning down in Sabinillas;

The threatened wet stuff has not happened, the sun was out early and the sky is starting to clear, there are high clouds, there is a light breeze but it’s warm on the sunny-side of the street, over the weekend it’s due to pick up and next week is looking warm & sunny, getting hotter each day, watch this space.

See the picture below of a landscape view taken from Beddgelert looking across the ‘ Snowdonia’ mountains.

For our supper this evening we have cancelled ‘ Fish Night’ and are having the rest of the ‘Roast Loin of Pork’ – cold with a fry-up of the leftover vegetables & the rest of the ‘ Fondante’ potatoes; tomorrow it’s going to be ‘ Grilled Fillet Steaks’ and then on Sunday I bought this morning a large ‘ Leg of New Zealand, South Island, Lamb’ to roast as Lee is joining us for supper, after he’s installed the new ‘ Amazon Fire TV Stick ‘ along with all the add-ons! I’ve promised Brenda her ‘ Fish Supper’ one night next week!!

This evening we will channel hop on ‘Spanish’ TV and find a film to watch using the ‘translate’ button.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
