We were both up again this morning, I was
picked up by Mano, as our car is in the garage, for repairs after a little bump
in the heavy rain last Friday, Brenda saw ‘ Reina’ back with us for the last
time this week, she’s back to normal next week, for five days, ‘Chispa’ has
been in & out all morning.
I called into the ‘English Bookshop’ in
Sabinillas to post a birthday card ( who?) and pick up the local newspapers, I
then did the main weekly shop in ‘ Mercadona’ before coming back up to the
village to unload at the house.
On the way up we called into our local
garage, the ‘ Insurance Assessor’ had
called in to check the car, so Mano took me back down to our Bank in Sabinillas
and I sorted out the necessary payment ( Ouch!!) back at the garage. Thanks
Mano!

The threatened wet stuff has not happened,
the sun was out early and the sky is starting to clear, there are high clouds,
there is a light breeze but it’s warm on the sunny-side of the street, over the
weekend it’s due to pick up and next week is looking warm & sunny, getting
hotter each day, watch this space.
See the picture below of a landscape view taken from
Beddgelert looking across the ‘ Snowdonia’ mountains.
For our supper this evening we have cancelled
‘ Fish Night’ and are having the rest of the ‘Roast Loin of Pork’ – cold with a
fry-up of the leftover vegetables & the rest of the ‘ Fondante’ potatoes;
tomorrow it’s going to be ‘ Grilled Fillet Steaks’ and then on Sunday I bought
this morning a large ‘ Leg of New Zealand, South Island, Lamb’ to roast as Lee
is joining us for supper, after he’s installed the new ‘ Amazon Fire TV Stick ‘
along with all the add-ons! I’ve promised Brenda her ‘ Fish Supper’ one night
next week!!
This evening we will channel hop on ‘Spanish’
TV and find a film to watch using the ‘translate’ button.
