A SLIGHTLY OVERCAST BUT STILL WARM SUNNY MANILVA ON SUNDAY;

SUNDAY 21^st/ SEPTEMBER 2014.

Just a little lie in this morning as we are getting more sleep at night as the overall temperatures has dropped; the threat of the wet stuff is still around but the forecast are changing by the hour so you never know we might be lucky on Monday and escape any of it!

‘Reina’ as usual sleeps all night on the bed not on her duvet/sleeping bag and in the morning you have to wake her up! She ate all her dinner last night, she is a ‘night time girl’ as she livens up during the evening!!

After breakfast we go our first Sunday Roast on the go as we have not had one for over 3 months! ‘Roast Loin of Pork’ with a savory Herb Stuffing, from the vegetable chefs department there is Baby Brussels Sprouts with Smoked Bacon sippits, Cauliflower Florets in a three cheese sauce, crushed Baby Carrots & Turnips, Garden Peas and Parsley New potatoes; this evening Goose Fat Roast Potatoes and nor forgetting my famous ‘finger-licking’ pan Gravy! We can’t wait! See the picture below of the vegetables!

A little update on the sports front, yesterday sadly Liverpool lost at West Ham 3-1 and did not play well; today over here in ‘Ponferrada’ in North West Spain in the Region of Castile & Leon the “ World Road Race Championships ” started, the town s very picturesque and is surrounded by mountains. The coverage is live on the main ‘TDP’ Sports Channel during the week ahead.

Last night after catching all the news, sport and weather updates we settled down to watch a good film “ Safe House” from 2012 with Denzel Washington, Ryan Reynolds and Brendan Gleeson in a ‘CIA’ spy drama and then another Denzel Washington movie which we had seen before “ Training Day ”from 2002 with Ethan Hawke as New York cops – in one he is a good guy and in the other a bad guy – watch to find out which!

This evening after our Sunday Roast we will settle down and find something to watch, not too late as we hopefully up and out in the morning on our shopping trip across to Marbella with lunch at ‘La Sala’ in Puerto Banus on the start of a week of celebrations for my birthday on Wednesday! So the Blog will be posted a little later tomorrow.
