A VERY WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY;

THURSDAY 19^th / MAY 2016.

I was up early to see ‘ Reina’ back with us, she’s here for a sleep over and will be picked up tomorrow evening, she’s also back on Saturday afternoon for another sleep over, we all then had a little lie in as we are having an at home today taking things easy, for our breakfast we had toasted ‘Smoked Bacon Butties’ smeared with ‘HP’ sauce and mugs of hot, strong tea, we also got the shopping list ready for tomorrow morning.

The sun was out early this morning and its already warm, by lunchtime it will be hot, 24/25 degs, over the weekend its more of the same and getting a little hotter down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ See the pictures below of this mornings sunrise over the beach down in Sabinillas and over Liverpool.

Speaking of Liverpool, last night they lost/ gave away the ‘UEFA Europa League Cup Final’ with a terrible second half display after a brilliant first half with a stunning Sturridge goal, they lost 1-3 after playing with no conviction, the left back Moreno ( ex Sevilla player?!) was atrocious as the rest of the team collapsed and gave the game away!

Brenda has just managed to get an appointment with the 'Private Physiotherapist' for early this evening down at her clinic in Sabinillas, watch this space. At lunchtime we went up to ' Bar Castillo' for a light ' Tapas' lunch and a cool drink, our friend Lillemor came along and joined us, on Saturday afternoon I'm taking her to the bus station over in Marbella as she is flying back to Sweden from Malaga,  she's back in July.

For our supper this evening we are having ‘Grilled Chicken Wings’  with sautéed Baby Mushrooms, a baked Potato with a Mixed Salad, fish on Friday, steak on Saturday and Sunday is TBC! Watch this space.

Last night as we were going to bed ( 1-00 am!) the Skype video came online from Melbourne, it was Jack & Lyn ( morning there! ) – they were full of the joys of ‘spring’ – actually its the start of their winter in Australia, they are getting rather excited as they head off to London a week today! Jack’s got the bags out and had started packing his shorts & socks!! They are flying into London and then picking up a car to travel around and go and see Norah & Jenny, they all fly into Gibraltar on Monday evening the 13^th June, watch this space.

We are going up on the ‘roof patio in the sky’ this evening for our ‘ Happy Hour’ cocktails and to start reading again, later we will channel hop and find something to watch.
