I was up early this morning and after a
quick freshen up I shot off across to the Hospital in Estepona for my 3rd appointment
with the main ‘ Physiotherapist ‘ – I’m back on Tuesday,
Wednesday and Friday mornings, Thursday is a ‘ Bank Holiday’ for “ Andalusia
Day “ – it’s also “ Global Scouse Day “! Watch this space.
I managed to find a parking spot right
away, with a bit of luck, I slowly followed a couple leaving, to find their car!
This meant that I was able to have a quick tea & tostado before walking
down to the Hospital!
I start with the warm wax-bath, on my
left-hand, which is kept on for 20 minutes, then a deep massage oil is applied to
my hand before a long massage session, finished with stress excercises with my
the fingers.
PS; On Friday it’s “ St David’s Day ‘ – I’m
going to the Hospital first, then will do the weekly shopping etc, back in Sabinillas
later.
This morning started a little grey &
overcast as well as being very cold, as there was a stiff breeze blowing up
from the Mediterranean, as I set off, it’s now cleared and the sky is cloudless
& blue, by lunchtime it’s due to reach 17 degs+ - the rest of the week and
over the coming weekend is staying dry, with patchy clouds, but mainly sunny,
as the breeze drops, reaching 20/21 degs+ at times, during the night hovering at around 10/11
degs, just in time for the start of March! Next week is also looking the same, going
a little warmer as the week goes on, back to normal for the time of the year.

Just a quick update on the sports results
from yesterday; Ireland won 16-26 - with a not very convincing game-plan, by
Jonny Sexton! Real Madrid won 1-2 but didn’t play well, the Manchester Utd v
Liverpool game finished 0-0, but Liverpool are still top of the ‘ Premier
League’ At the “ Carabao Cup Final “ at Wembley, it went to extra time and then
penalties, after another goal-less match, a rather poor Manchester City then beat Chelsea 4-3- to win
the ‘Cup’ again.
At lunchtime we went for a short walk to stretch our legs and ended up sat inside ' Bar Castillo' for a nice cool drink and some of Juan's excellent ' Tapas' - ' Boquerones in Vinegar, Russian Salad, Diced Chicken Korma & Ham & Cheese Empanadas '

For our supper this evening we are having
the rest of the ‘ Poulet En Cocotte Bonne Femme ‘ – which was very tasty, a nice change, tomorrow it’s
going to be ‘ Chicken Schnitzels ‘ with ‘Spaghetti Milanese ‘ - on Wednesday I’m making a ‘Beef &
Vegetable Stew’ – which on Thursday will become a nice pan of traditional ‘ Lob Scouse ’ after adding
par-boiled diced potatoes! For ‘ Global Scouse Day ‘!! Friday will be a ‘Fish n’
Chip Supper’ and on Saturday, as usual, ‘ Steak Night’ – for the ‘Roast ‘ on
Sunday will be having ‘Lamb’ to celebrate ‘St David’s Day’ in style!
Last night after supper we settled down to
watch the second episode of the excellent and very gripping “ Baptiste “ – the
accidental drowning sequence, of the missing girl, who was hiding from a killer
sent to murder her, was the most shocking ever shown on TV, more details
started to appear, as the tale started to come together, the ‘ Detective’ was
outwitted by the strange ‘ Uncle’ – but then found the severed head, at his
house, but is now trapped by the nasty ‘ Uncle’ with a gun at his head,
meanwhile the Detectives wife has let in the same killer, acting as a ‘ Gas Man’
to read her meter! We can’t wait for
next week’s episode!! Watch this space.
Later this afternoon/evening we will catch
up with all the ‘Quiz Shows’ that we follow, before channel hopping later after
supper.
Thoughts for the Day; See above.
