A BEAUTIFUL ' CRISP & SUNNY' MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

“ LUNAR NEW YEAR  - KUNG HEI FAT CHOY “  ‘ THE YEAR OF THE PIG ‘

Just a little lie in this morning as we have a busy day ahead, by our simple standards, after freshening up we had a quick toast & tea, then Christine & Stuart called in with little ‘ Winnie’ – the Pug, to see us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ – she’s a lovely dog and soon settled in, she’s coming back next week, for two days and a sleep-over, watch this space.

Brenda then went along to the Chemists in ‘Calle Mar’  for all our prescription tablets, she bumped into Monica, from ‘ Bar Rojas’ – she is now closed and will open her new business in a couple of weeks time down ‘Calle Iglesia ‘ – I then went down to the local Butchers, in the same street, to top up, for another day, ‘Chicken Wings, Assorted Homemade Burgers & Boned Chicken Legs/Thighs for tomorrows Curry ! Brenda is then popping across to the local shop down our street for some essentials.

It’s a beautiful day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – the sun was out first thing and sky is already bright blue, there is a very slight breeze, making it very pleasant, on the sunny side of the street it’s warm, by lunchtime it’s due to reach 18 degs+ - over the next couple of days it will be going warmer, 20 degs+ -  during the night it’s still cold, 9/10 degs, the weekend is looking the same, next week will also be dry, settled, warm & sunny, with a few patchy clouds at times, hovering in the mid/high ‘ teens’ – watch this space.

For our supper this evening we are having a “ Casserole of Lambs Liver “ with ‘Pork Sausages & Crispy Smoked Bacon’ in a rich ‘Onion & Shallot Mushroom Salsa ‘ – with a small platter of assorted Vegetables and  ‘ Pommes Risolees ‘ – boiled Baby New Potatoes in their skins, tossed in foaming Butter until crisp & golden all over !

This afternoon/early evening we will be catching up with all the ‘ Quiz Shows’ that we follow ‘ Countdown, Tipping Point, Pointless, Eggheads, Only Connect & University Challenge ‘  - later after supper it’s the second part of this week’s ‘Silent Witness ‘ – another gripping investigation of murder being uncovered by the team.
