A VERY WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY.

THURSDAY 2nd / AUGUST 2018.

After another hot & clammy night, ‘Prince Paddy’ spent the night on the marble floor and ‘ Lex’ moved around a lot, this morning we had a quick freshen up and shot out for first walk of the day, in the shade with a slight breeze blowing, down to the ‘ Mirador’ – when we returned I made the ‘ Toasted Crispy Smoked Bacon Butties’- smothered in ‘ HP’ Brown sauce, open on brown for Brenda, with mugs of strong tea, to set us up for another very hot day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’

‘Paddy’ is being collected this afternoon after his Mum & Dad arrived home late last night, from the USA, he’s all packed up and ready, he knows that something is happening, as he’s now spending time on top of the couch by the door!

‘Lex’ is due to be picked up on Saturday, next week in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ we have ‘ Maisie’- the Portuguese Water Dog,  joining us for a week’s holiday, also little princess ‘ Reina’ will be back with us for 1/2 days, no doubt ‘ Chispa’ will be calling in, as usual, to see her old & new friends, watch this space.

This morning the sun broke through the clouds, which have now cleared, and the ski bright blue, there is still a very slight breeze, keeping it a little cooler in the shade, by lunchtime it will be 29 degs+ - overnight hovering in the low 20s, normal for the time of the year, over the next couple of days it’s staying the same, but a little cooler with patchy clouds at times, from Sunday onwards it’s going to be very hot & sunny, in the mid 30s, a lot warmer inland, next week is going to be a ‘ hot-one’ Watch this space.

We are having a quiet day at home, taking things easy, keeping as cool as possible, all the fans on, drinking lots of cold water, relaxing, as it’s the ‘ Head Chef’s & Staff’s’ day/night off, this evening we are going out on the ‘Town’ – for a nice cool drink & a ‘Tapas’ supper, that’s if we can find anywhere open, as all the ‘Bars’ are taking a break after last week’s festivities!

NB; The ' Council' workmen have started putting up the lights along ' Calle Mar' - erecting all the stages etc, for the " Noche Del Embujo Festival " on Saturday evening.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
