A VERY CLOSE & HOT SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 1^st/ AUGUST 2018 !

We all had a little lie in this morning after another ‘ hot’ night, ‘Prince Paddy’ stayed on the marble floor and ‘ Lex Baby’ roamed around, they then wait while we get ready to go out, we went for our first walk of the day down to the ‘ Mirador’ – keeping in the shade, when we retuned ‘ Lex’ had his breakfast before we had ours, ‘Paddy’ eats when he want’s too.

After breakfast we then gave ‘Paddy’ his last shower/shampoo, he’s very good and just stands in the bath, on the mat, as we give him his wash & brush, he’s now drying off, meanwhile his Mum & Dad are in the air, over the ‘Atlantic’ on their way home from Seattle, he’s due to be picked up sometime tomorrow morning, which we are dreading, as we are going to miss him terribly!

And this evening as were having out supper 'Prince Paddy' was starting to get ready to see his Mum & Dad tomorrow!

This morning it’s very close & clammy, there is not a breath of air, so we are all struggling to keep cool, all the fans are on and we are all drinking lots of water, by lunchtime it’s due to reach 29 degs+ but with patchy clouds on the horizon, it’s now going to like this for the next few days, over the weekend possibly going a little warmer, into the low 30s, a lot hotter inland, all over Spain,  but keeping a little cooler along the coast, next week is going to be a ‘hot-one’ – watch this space.

Yesterday evening on our last walk of the day with the two dogs, along ‘Calle Mar’ – we sit on one of the new seats and take in the cooling night air, a nice Swedish couple came along, Mikael & Ylva, who have a house down on the urbanization below the village, for the past 30 years, and were also friends of Lillimor, we have met them before when they have been over on holiday in previous years, we had a nice catch-up & chat, we told them that Lillimor used to sent us lovely post cards from Gothenburg, so they are going to do the same, from their town, ‘Soderkoping’ – below Stockholm watch this space!

This afternoon we will be watching the Flat Horse Racing from  “ Glorious Goodwood “ – then later catching up with all the ‘Quiz Shows’ that we follow.

For our supper this evening we are having ‘ Chicken n’Chips’ in the Basket, with a Mayonnaise dip! Tomorrow night we will be hitting the ‘ hot-spots’ of sunny Manilva, as it’s the ‘Head Chef’s & Staff night off! Friday will be a ‘ Fish Supper’ and then on Saturday, as it’s the “ Noche Del Embujo “ – so we could be out again, then on Sunday it will be time for our ‘ Steak Night’  Watch this space.
