A NOW WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 9th/ MAY 2018.

I was up early, again, this morning to see little princess ‘Reina’ back with us for today, the last time this week, here in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ – she, as usual, shot up into her duvet, ‘ Chico & Charlie’ both slept all night, they are both very good sleepers, they are eating everything, and are into our walking routine around the lower part of the village, we are going to miss them both, as they are such good company and real characters, ‘Charlie’ goes home tomorrow and ‘ Chico’ on Saturday.

We then took them for their first walk of the day, when we returned we had our regular breakfast of ‘ Weetabix’ fresh fruit, toast & tea, I then got the evenings supper on the go!

Overnight a stiff breeze was blowing and this morning it was still a little breezy as we set off, it’s cloudy but the sun is trying to break through, by lunchtime it’s forecast to be 21 degs+ - over the next few days it’s more of the same, then on Sunday the sun is due to return in sunny Manilva! Next week is now looking, for the first time in a long while, dry, warm & sunny, getting warmer as the week goes on, hovering on the 24 degs+ mark, 14/15 degs overnight, watch this space.

See below a picture of the ‘ Royal Liver Building’ at the Pier Head in Liverpool taken this morning as 6-00 am!

As I said above, I have just made the ‘ Chicken & Mushroom Curry ‘ for this evenings supper, the aromas are wafting upstairs to the office/studio, as I’m typing/posting today’s Blog, and up the street, the only ‘Curry House’ in sunny Manilva is open for business! The ‘ Second Chef’ has been left in charge of the skimming, tasting and adjusting the consistency, at the same time she has prepared the Garden Peas & her special ‘ Basmati Rice ‘

This afternoon we are going to catch up with the ‘ Giro d’ Italia’ Stage 5 – from Agrigento to Santa Ninfa over 153 kms, over in Sicily, tomorrow they finish, by the top of ‘ Mount Etna’! Britain’s Simon Yates is up to third, as Chris Froome lost a little time, on the final climb, it’s still ‘early days’ – watch this space.

Last night after supper we settled down to watch the next episode of “ The Split “ – about a family of lady divorce lawyers, this week featured a surprise ‘love child’ – an illicit kiss with the young black vicar, as one of the sisters had ‘ cold-feet’ ahead of her wedding, a drunken ‘ NERF GUN’ fight?! The husband tried to kiss one of the sisters’ not his wife, as she had taken her young daughter to get contraception segued! Then at the end the three sisters discovered their mother had been hiding letters & presents, that their father has sent then, over 30 years, since he left the family, to run off the America with the Nanny! Watch this space!!

PS; Next Monday morning we are now going across to Fuengirola as a friend, who used to work for us,from Llandudno, is staying at a Hotel, on the front, for a week, from today, Julie is with her young daughter & her mother, we are looking forward to a good catch up, with all her news!  We can't wait to see her again after all these years!

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
