A VERY WET & WINDY SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY.

THURSDAY 1st/ MARCH 2018.       “ ST DAVID’S DAY “

I was up early this morning to welcome back little princess ‘ Reina’ for the last time this week, sadly Lee called to say that he was not going into work today, as the storm was just too bad, it was thunder & lightening, with a cloud burst along with strong winds, at one time the rain was flowing up our street, not down as usual!

‘Reina’ could be back with us tomorrow and sometime over the weekend, as Daniela is due to fly back from London later today, weather permitting, as over in the UK they are in the middle of a ‘Siberian’ winter, with the heaviest snow fall in over 30 years! Watch this space.

‘Charlie’ is due to arrive tomorrow for another short break until Monday.

‘Scooby’ has settled in very well, he’s eating everything, he’s a real character and good company, he slept all night, by the side of our bed on his ‘ Comfort Jumper’ on top of ‘ Reina’s’ duvet, this morning I took him out for his first walk of the day after breakfast, as the rain had stopped, it’s a ‘ Toasted Crispy Smoked Bacon Butty ‘ day with mugs of steaming tea! When I returned ‘ Chispa’ was outside our house to welcome us back, as well as Brenda, with the towel.

Overnight the forecasted bad weather, hit us, this morning it’s grey, cold, overcast and very wet & windy, down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ in sunny Manilva! It looks like it’s with us for the rest of the week and over the weekend, next week is looking the same, for now, its’ still hovering on the 16/17 degs mark during the day and the overnight temperatures are still 12/14 degs! Watch this space.

See below the beach down in Sabinillas this morning.

This evening for our supper we are having the rest of the ‘ Scouse’ with Baby Beetroot, tomorrow it’s a ‘ Fish’n’Chips’ night and on Saturday we are having a ‘ Steak Night’ – then on Sunday it’s my famous ‘ Smoked Chicken & Three Green Bean Risotto’

I’m waiting to see how the weather is tomorrow, before I go down to Sabinillas on my travels for the weekly shopping, it could be Saturday morning instead, watch this space.

PS; It's looking it's its going to be Saturday!

Last night after supper we caught up with the next episode of ‘ Shetland’ – as the murder enquiry took the detectives to Norway, back in Shetland more details came out, then things started to get dangerous over in Norway as they investigated the far-right extremists party, at the end the two main detectives were surrounded by a mob of baddies! Watch this space.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
