I was up early this morning, again, to see ‘Reina’
back with us for the day, she shot upstairs and came on the bed, taking over ‘
Chico’s’ spot, he went into his bed, by the side of the bed, and we all had a
little lie in, before we freshened up, we then took ‘ Chico’ out for his first
walk of the day, when we returned we had our normal light breakfast of ‘
Weetabix’ fresh fruit, toast & tea. ‘Scruffy’ was dropped off a little later
in the morning, for the day.
This morning has started dry & mild,
with just a slight breeze, it’s cloudy but the sun is trying to break through, by
lunchtime it will be 18/19 degs+ - it still could rain later, over the next few
days and over the weekend it’s still going to be grey, overcast & damp, going
a little cooler, next week the forecast is looking a lot better, with the sun
back with us, hopefully back to normal for the time of the year, watch this
space.
For our supper this evening we are having ‘
Grilled Gammon Steaks ‘ topped with seared Pineapple Rings & ‘ Campo’ Fried
Eggs! On the side Garden Peas and of course twice-cooked ‘ Chips’ – not forgetting
the ‘ HP’ Brown sauce. On Thursday it’s going to be our favourite ‘ Grilled
Chicken Wings’ with a Baked Potato, Friday is ‘ Fish Night’ and Saturday is ‘
Steak Night’ – then on Sunday we are not roasting as we are having ‘ Pan-Seared
‘Medallions of Pork’ Fillet, watch this space.
Later this afternoon we will be watching
the ‘ National Hunt Jump Racing’ from the ‘ Cheltenham Festival ‘ with the main
race today the “ Queen Mother Champion
Chase ‘
After supper last night we settled down to
watch the pen-ultimate episode of ‘ Shetland’ – as the detectives closed in on
the killer, the young Norwegian detective, is under suspicion, as he’s a member
of the neo-fascist party, trying to cover up their plans, the local police are
under investigation, the main detective has problems with his step-daughter
father, the net is closing in on the killer, watch this space.
Thoughts for the Day; See above.
