A DRY & CRISP SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 12th/ MARCH 2018.

No ‘ Reina’ this morning as it’s a ‘Bank Holiday’ in Gibraltar, so Lee & Daniela are not working, she’s back with us tomorrow for three days, after showering I collected ‘Scruffy’ for the day, we then had our breakfast  of ‘ Toasted Crispy Smoked Bacon Butties’ smothered in ‘HP’ Brown sauce with mugs of steaming tea, to start the week in the right direction! ‘Chico’ is due to be dropped off any moment now, he’s with us for another holiday, for 10 days, no doubt ‘ Chispa’ will be calling in to see all her friends, in between all the showers!

Speaking of which, at the moment it’s keeping dry, with a cloudy sky, with a light breeze, crisp, with no sign of any of the wet stuff for today, so far, then for the rest of the week it’s back to normal, with rain everyday and over the coming weekend, next week is not looking much better, at the moment, with just the possibility of the sun breaking through, the overall temperatures are still hovering on the 16/17 degs+ mark, overnight down to 13/14 degs, watch this space.

See below;

On Tuesday evening we have our regular appointments down at the local surgery with the ‘ Council’ Chiropodist, then on Friday morning I will be out on my travels, down to Sabinillas, for the weekly shopping, next week Brenda is fitting in an appointment at her ‘Hairdressers’ for the full-works, before the ‘ Easter Week’ celebrations! I also have to arrange an appointment for my six-month blood tests etc, down at the main Medical Centre in Sabinillas,  as have my ‘Prostate’ check up/review with my Consultant, over at the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’ in April, watch this space.

This evening for our supper we are having the ‘ Roast Top Side of Beef ‘ – ‘ cold ‘ carved and served with a selection of assorted left-over vegetables and the rest of the ‘ Goose Fat ‘ Roast potatoes, I’m also doing a ‘ take-away’ Roast Dinner Platter, for Rose, when she collects ‘ Scruffy’ after returning from the Hospital this evening, on Tuesday we are having ‘Pan-Seared Lambs Liver’ with a rich Red Wine Mushroom, Onion & Shallot Gravy, then on Wednesday it’s going to be ‘Grilled Gammon Steak’ and Chips, watch this space.

Later this evening after supper we will be watching the next gripping episode of ‘ Marcella ‘over on ITV, then on Tuesday afternoon and for the next four days I will in front of the TV watching the excellent coverage of the ‘ Cheltenham Festival ‘ – the most important week of the ‘National Hunt Jump Racing’ season, at the ‘ home ‘ of the sport ‘ Prestbury Park ‘ as the best national hunt horses do battle for the championship honours, watch this space.
