A VERY OVERCAST, WINDY, WET AND COLD SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 11^th/ DECEMBER 2017.

Well the forecasted ‘Storm Ana ‘ hit us overnight with heavy rain high winds and thunder & lightening, ‘ Chico ‘ was awoken in his bed and was not very happy with all the noise, so we brought him onto the bed where he was a lot more happy and went back to sleep.

I was up first thing to welcome back little princess ‘ Reina’ for the day, she shot into her duvet and we all had a nice lie in, we then had our regular breakfast of ‘ Weetabix ‘ toast & tea before Brenda took ‘ Chico ‘ out in the heavy rain for his first walk of the day, they came back like two ‘ drowned-rats’! The reason that Brenda drew the ‘short-straw’ was that I’m not feeling very well, I’m aching from head to foot, I’ve lost all my energy and do not feel on top of the World, I’ve taken the tablets and hopefully will pick up later, I’m taking things very easy, for the rest of the day, keeping warm and sitting down, watch this space.

‘Chico’ is now with us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven ‘ until Friday morning, the folks rang from the UK and asked if it was alright, ‘Reina’ is back tomorrow & Friday and is then with us on Saturday/Sunday for a sleep- over, also ‘ Charlie’ is back for a sleep-over on Thursday/Friday! Next week are also very busy in the run up to Xmas, watch this space.

This morning, as you would expect, it’s dark, very windy, overcast and the rain has not stopped, in Spain, when it rains – it ‘ RAINS’! Over the next few days and into the weekend it’s back to normal, the sun will be out and it’s hovering on the 17/19 degs+ - the forecast for the week up to ‘Xmas’ is more of the same but with some of the ‘wet-stuff’ also possible, watch this space.

This evening we are having the rest of the ‘ Roast Lamb’ with a fry-up of the leftover vegetables and ‘Boulangere’ Potatoes, we are planning the menu’s for the rest of the week later, as on Tuesday evening we are down at the surgery for our appointments with the ‘ Chiropodist’ – then on Wednesday we have two appointments across at the Hospital  for Brenda’s ‘ECG/Review/Check-up’ with the ‘ Heart Consultant’ On Thursday Brenda is going down on the local bus to Sabinillas for the – full-works’ at the Hairdressers, finally on Friday I’m out on my travels down in Sabinillas for the weekly shopping , I’ve just rung Pedro, at the garage, and he’s dropping the car off sometime tomorrow – ‘fingers-crossed’ Watch this space.

Just a quick update on the football results; Manchester City won 1-2 and Liverpool drew 1-1, Real Madrid won 5-0 & Barcelona won 0-2!

Last night after supper we watched over on ‘ Channel 4 ‘ the ‘ premiere ‘ film “ The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel “ with a mega cast of Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Penelope Wilton, Tina Desai, Dev Patel, Maggie Smith, Celia Imrie, Ronald Pickup, Tamsin Greig, David Strathairn and Richard Gere! – no shooting, stabbings, gun battles, car chases, bad language, etc !!
