Just a little lie in this morning before we took ‘ Chico’ for his first walk of the day, we then had a quick toast & tea before getting today’s ‘Roast’ on the go.

“ Roast Leg of New Zealand, South Island, Lamb ‘ studded with Garlic Cloves & Rosemary, with a ‘ Finger-licking’ Pan Gravy. The’ Vegetable ‘ Chef’ has prepared Cauliflower & Broccoli Florets ‘Mornay’- Creamed Leeks, Diamond Cut Green Beans, Glazed Carrot & Turnip Batons and Garden Peas and her famous ' Mashed Potato ' We are of course having a large dish of my famous ‘ Boulangere’ Potatoes which I made this morning, ready to go in the oven this evening, all served with ‘Mint’ sauce on the side!

It’s still very ‘ crisp’ first thing in the morning, the sky is clearing slowly and there is a light breeze, by lunchtime it will be 18/19 degs+ - tomorrow we are in for a very wet & windy start to the week, the ‘ Atlantic ‘ storm is due to hit us overnight and we are in for a unseasonal battering, the rest of the week is looking, at the moment, dry & settled, hovering on the 16/17degs+ - next weekend is forecast to be dry & sunny, with just a little threat of the ‘ wet-stuff’ – watch this space.

‘Chico’ is due to be collected tomorrow lunchtime, we are going to miss him he a real character and such good company, he’s no problem to look after, he eats very well and sleeps all night, he’s back next week for a short stay, ‘Reina’ is with us on Monday& Tuesday and Friday, then the following weekend she’s back for weekend break with us,’ Charlie’ is then with us for a week over the Xmas period, no doubt ‘ Chispa’ will be in & out all the time to see all her friends.

PS; ' Chico's stay has just been extended to Thursday/Friday morning, which is great news!

Next week we have our appointments down at the surgery with the ‘ Chiropodist’ on Tuesday evening, on Wednesday morning we have two appointments at the Hospital, past Marbella, for Brenda’s ‘ECG’ scan and then to see the ‘Heart’ Consultant for the review/check-up. Brenda is going down on the local bus on Thursday morning, as she has an appointment at the Hairdressers for the ‘ full-works’  On Friday morning I will be out on my travels down in Sabinillas for the weekly shopping, hopefully in the car, which I will be chasing up tomorrow morning, Pedro, at the garage has promised to have it repaired/ready, in time for Wednesday, ‘Fingers Crossed ‘ - watch this space!

Last night after supper we settled down to watch over on ‘ BBC Four’ the next two back to back episodes of ‘ Witnesses: A Frozen Death ‘ – in a very gripping and fast moving ‘ double- header’ the two women, who have joined forces to go on a dangerous hunt together, the ‘ Killer’ shows himself, for the first time, he’s a uniformed Policeman, he attempts to shoot the Lady Detectives husband, but missies him, killing three policemen, who are guarding him, but is shot in the shoulder, the Detectives ex-lovers are starting to disappear, then the accomplice, who the women have been interrogating, is forced to shoot himself, by the killer, after chasing and finding him!

‘Sandra’ – the Detective, is still finding more clues, she is a great cop, smart, resourceful, intuitive, tough & brave, she discovers more details about the orphanage, gives her colleague’s the clue to find the women accomplice, who is arrested, then at the end she has a breakthrough when she kidnap’s a mad women, who was in the orphanage, who gives her the name of the killer, she track him down, but he has changed his name and she goes to interview his friend not knowing that’s him! Just as she realizes who he is, he stuns her with a electric stun gun!! Are you following?! Next week is the final two episodes, watch this space!!
