A STILL VERY 'CRISP' & SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 20th/ DECEMBER 2017.

We had a little lie in this morning as we are ‘ doggy free’ today, ‘ Chico’ is back tomorrow for a couple of days, ‘Charlie’ arrives on Friday for his weeks ‘Xmas’ Holiday and ‘ Reina’ is with us on ‘Xmas’ Eve. The village is very quiet and of course we don’t have very much traffic passing the front door, also the ‘Contractor’s’ up in ‘ Calle Mar’ are not making too much noise, at the moment, after freshening up we had our normal breakfast of toast, fresh fruit & tea.

We then went down to ‘Sabinillas’ as we had a message/call to look after, it’s another very crisp & sunny day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – the sky is bright blue and the Mediterranean was sparkling as we drove along the promenade street. There is a light breeze so it’s cold on the shady side and ‘ crisp’ in the sunshine, over the next few days and the weekend it’s hovering on the 16/17 degs mark, overnight 7/8 degs, next week it’s the same on ‘ Christmas Day’ but sadly on ‘Boxing Day’ and onwards some of the wet stuff is now forecast, watch this space.

When we returned I called the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ Hospital to get another appointment for Brenda for her ‘ ECG’ – sadly the first available is in April, we will have to wait to hear about another appointment with the ‘ Heart’ Consultant, in the meantime she’s going to make an appointment with our Doctor, Natalia, down at the health Centre in Sabinillas, to for review/check up, hopefully the transfer has gone through, watch this space.

Tomorrow evening Lee is calling in, before he goes on holiday to see his mother & family over in the UK, to check out all the TV systems, make sure that the ‘Skype’ landline payment is up to date and check out all our contacts etc, especially Jack & Lyn’s ‘Skype’ details, which we have been having problems with, before the Xmas holidays, as we are due to call Australia, Cananda & the UK!

For our supper this evening we are grabbing a quick snack before we set off down to the ‘Iglesia Santa Ana Church ‘ for the Christmas Carol Concert with the Manilva Brass Band & local choirs, we will then shoot back to the house to catch the final episode of ‘ Peaky Blinders ‘ on BBC TV 2 – from the ‘sublime to the ridiculous’!!

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
