I was up early this morning to see little
princess ‘ Reina’ back with us for the day here in ‘ Doggy World Heaven ‘ – she
shot upstairs and came back on the bed with us for a nice lie in, she’s back
with us for the next three days, we then freshened up and had our breakfast, ‘
Crispy Smoked Bacon Butties’ ( White ) – as usual, open on Brown for Brenda, we
both like our toast lightly toasted, not crisp, with, of course, mugs of strong
‘PG Tips’!
I shot up to the office/studio to type
& post the Blog after going on the ‘WWW’ Brenda went along to the Chemists
in ‘Calle Mar’ for our prescription tablets, with some difficulty, as the
street is now being dug up, there are barriers along the side, as she came
back, at the top of our street, they were taking down, sadly, all the very old
Palm Trees, as I forecast yesterday!
As you can see in the pictures we have
another beautiful day here in sunny Manilva, the sun broke through earlier and
the sky is bright blue, there is no breeze so it’s very pleasant, by lunchtime
hovering on the 20/21 degs mark, during the night it’s dropping to 12/14 degs,
cold but we don’t need the Oil Heaters on at the moment, the rest of the week
is the same, even getting a little warmer over the weekend, next week is
looking a little cooler and with the possibility of some of the wet stuff, as
the Atlantic front comes across Spain, watch this space.
This evening for our supper we are having ‘
Grilled Gammon Steaks’ topped with seared Pineapple Rings and ‘ Campo Fried
Eggs ‘ – with Garden Peas and twice-cooked ‘ Chips’ – ‘HP’ Brown sauce on the
side! Tomorrow I’m going to make, for a change, my now famous, ‘ Chicken &
Mushroom Tarragon Pie ‘ which we will have with whole Baby Green Beans and
Parsley New Potatoes. Thursday is ‘ Left-Over’s’ night, Friday will be a ‘ Fish
Supper’ and then on Saturday, as usual, it will be ‘ Steak Night’ – Sunday is
still TBC, watch this space.
When Lee picks up ‘ Reina’ this evening he’s
going to re-set the new TV System, last night he sorted out, on-line, via
Skype, a extension to the contract, we will then be able to catch up with all
the programmes that we have missed, before following the new series, last night
on ‘TVE 1’the late film, in English, was one of the ‘Bourne Trilogy’ movies,
that we have seen, many time before, but still a good watch.
As I was typing/posting the Blog this morning I've been listening to the ' David Sibbald Country Classics ' show which is on every Tuesday between 12 - 2 pm, catch it if you can, online, it ' ROCKS ' !!
Thoughts for the Day; See above.
