We had a nice lie in this morning as ‘
Doggy World Heaven’ has no friends staying! We miss them all, especially ‘Charlie’
who was picked up last night by Brian, we miss his company, he’s such a character,
‘Lolo’ was also very good and hopefully will be back with us in the future, ‘Reina’
is back next week, on Monday, for three days, she got on with both of them,
especially ‘ Charlie’ – who gave his ‘ Chewy-Bone’ to her! ‘ Chispa’ will no
doubt be calling soon, as she’s due to be out & about again, after her ‘
Lock-Down’!
Brenda gabbed a quick shower, I’m having
one later after typing & posting the Blog, for breakfast I had ‘ Campo’
Fried Egg Butties, Brenda was just on her usual Brown toast, with mugs of
strong tea, we then got the shopping list ready for tomorrow mornings travels
down to Sabinillas, Brenda is joining me, weather permitting, to call into the ‘
English Bookshop’ for the Xmas cards, watch this space.
At the moment it’s grey & overcast with
the threat of rain in the air, we have been very lucky as over the past two
days it’s kept away and been warm & sunny, the forecast is still showing
the wet stuff hitting us for the next 2/3 days, before it picks up on Sunday,
next week is now looking dry & settled, hovering in the low 20s, watch this
space.
Finally there has been a sighting of the ‘Moffatt’s’
– ‘Tim & Thea’ up in Mojacar, they have settled back into the site below
Pueblo Mojacar, in their new caravan, yesterday they were ‘ attacked’ by a “
Praying Mantis “ as you can see in the pictures below, as Tim was preparing their
lunch!
This evening for our supper we are having
the rest of the ‘ Beef Curry’ with a ‘Timbale’ of Basmati Rice and twice-cooked
‘ Chips’ – tomorrow night it’s going to be a ‘Fish’n Chip’ supper, Saturday
will be ‘ Steak Night’ and then on Sunday we are, for the first time in a while,
for our ‘ Sunday Roast’ - we are going
to roast a Chicken with all the trimmings!
We are taking things easy for next few
days, keeping a low profile, while the weather is not so good, we will catch up
with all the news, read the newspapers, check out the various channels and
watch a good film etc.
Thoughts for the Day; See above.
