A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 13^th/ JUNE 2017.

We had a little lie in this morning until the Council workmen came down our street checking the drain covers, no ‘Reina’ . she’s back tomorrow morning, ‘Chispa’ has been in & out, as usual.

After our normal breakfast of fresh fruit ( Bananas ) toast and tea Brenda set off down to the surgery for her appointment with our Doctor, Natalia, for her results/ review/check up, no problems, everything normal, a little adjustment on the tablets for the control of the Diabetes levels and a little Urine infection, Kidney results are the same, watch the diet, keep taking the blood pressure readings, and more exercise! Watch this space.

We are in another very hot & sunny day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – the sky is blue and the sun was out early, there is just a slight breeze, keeping it a little cooler but still very hot in the sun, over the next couple of days it’s going to get warmer, over the weekend we are in for more of the same, next week is looking the same, hot & sunny, as usual for this time of the year, inland the ‘Orange’ alerts are still in place, 40/42 degs in places, the overnight temperatures are also creeping up, watch this space.

Tonight for our supper we are having ‘Pan-Seared Calves Liver ‘ with Crispy Smoked Bacon, the Liver is lightly dusted in seasoned flour before searing it in foaming Butter, with it we are having the last of the ‘ Boulangere Potatoes’ with a selection of vegetables.

Last night after supper we watched a film on the ‘ Kodi’ film channel; “ Jack Reacher: Never Go Back “ from 2016, with Tom Cruise in the title role, he can’t quite fill the character, as portrayed in the Lee Childs book, it’s height thing! The action is very good, filmed in New Orleans, The plot follows ‘Reacher’ going on-the-run with an Army Major ( Female) and a young girl, who could be his daughter, the Major has been framed for espionage and reveals a dark conspiracy. The books are still the best!!
