I was up very early this morning and
welcomed back ‘ Reina’ for the day, she shot into her duvet, she’s back next
week for her normal 5 days, I then shot out on my travels down to Sabinillas
for the weekly shopping, meanwhile back at the house Brenda was sorting out her
outfits & packing, washing her hair, showering etc, I’m smartening up
later, I did the main shop in ‘ Mercadona’ and the collected the local
newspapers and a new map, for our travels up to Mojacar, from the ‘English
Bookshop’ as well as the ‘ Easter’ cards, hopefully they will arrive on time!
I finally stopped at ‘ Super Sol’ for the ‘
English essentials, before heading back up though the vine fields, the leaves
are growing all the time, round the four hairpin bends, to unload back at the
house.
This morning it’s rather cold, there is a
stiff breeze, the sun is out and there are only a few clouds in the sky, it’s
due to reach 18/19 degs today and the same over the weekend, also up in Mojacar
they are experiencing the same weather, not as windy, but a little cooler
17/18degs!
This means that we are adding jumpers and
shawls to the carry-bag! The hired car is being dropped off early this evening,
I will top up the petrol and find out how to work the ‘ Sat-Nav’ – we are
setting off before 8-00am tomorrow morning as it will take over five hours, there
are also some new speed cameras just past Malaga, watch out Mojacar here we
come!

Sunday’ but then we will follow the parades on ‘Maundy’ Thursday evening, when
my Brotherhood “ Jesus of Nazareth “ carries the ‘ Tronos’ through the village,

Friday and ‘ Easter’ Sunday, watch this space for the news & pictures.
See the pictures below of the Bay of
Llandudno & Liverpool waterfront last night & Liverpool waterfront this

For our supper this evening we are having ‘
Fish & Chips’ – ‘Fillets of Hake in a Cruzcampo Batter’ with Mushy Peas and
twice-cooked ‘ Frits’ and of course homemade ‘ Tartar’ sauce and lots of Lemon
wedges. On Saturday up in Mojacar, with Tim & Thea, we are looking forward
to lunch in ‘Mojacar Peublo’ after we book into the ‘ Hotel Sal Marina’ followed
by a ‘ BBQ’ up on their site and then on Sunday lunch, at the folks favourite
restaurant back down in ‘ Mojacar Playa’ It will then be time to make the
journey back down the coast to sunny Manilva. Watch out for all news and the
pictures!!
We are taking things easy for the rest of
the day, we will watch, this afternoon, the racing from the ‘ Grand National
Festival ‘ on ‘ Ladies Day’ After supper we are packing and having a early
night before we are out on our travels down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’
