A CLEAR,DRY, WARM & STILL SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 19^th/ APRIL 2017.

I had a little lie in this morning as Brenda was up first to see ‘ Reina’ back with us for the day, she then shot down to the local Sub-Post Office, ‘ Reina’ shot into her duvet, ‘Chispa’ has been in & out all morning to see us and her friend, after a light breakfast I got this evenings supper on the go.

We are having a ‘ Chicken Stir-Fry’ using the leftover Roast Chicken, which I’ve diced, I have sweated-off ( al dente ) diced Onions, Garlic, Red & Green Peppers, Leeks & Celery, Green Beans & Peas, Mushrooms, Apples & Tomato, a clear-out of the fridge, I added a good dash of Lea & Perrin’s & Tabasco, Mixed Herbs and Tomato Frito, adjusted the seasoning, This evening I will toss/stir-fry all the ingredients in the Wok, we are having it with some twice-cooked ‘ Chips ‘ instead off the traditional Noodles!

It’s a little cloudy & overcast this morning, as forecast, the sun is just breaking through, there is a little breeze, overnight the temperatures are hovering on the 14/15 degs mark, we changed to a lighter duvet yesterday, it will reach 21 degs later, over the next few days it’s going to be a little cooler then on Sunday it’s due to pick up and next week we will back to normal, for the time of the year, warm and sunny and in the mid 20s, watch this space.

After yesterday surprise announcement of a  ‘ General Election ‘ over in the UK the ‘Euro’ has started to climb back up, a little bit of good news as we are in the middle of our Pensions arriving in our Spanish bank account, watch this space.

We are having an at home day, taking things easy, so Brenda has cleaned the kitchen cooker & hob, put some washing in, hung out some more to dry, caught up with the ironing, changed the beds, mopped around, watered the wall plants and is looking for any more jobs around the house, meanwhile I’m up in the office/studio on the ‘WWW’! Watch this space.
