SUNDAY 6th/ SEPTEMBER 2015.
We all had a nice lie in this morning as the music didn't finish until around 4-30 am! All four dogs were very good and did go to bed and slept all night,'Reina' on the bed with us,as normal, Freddie & Bentley' both on their beds on the floor either side of the bed and 'Charlie' moved around as usual.
This morning 'Charlie' came and jumped onto the bed with the other two following to let us know it was time to go out for their first walk of the day! We walked all four of them at once,Brenda takes 'Freddie & Bentley' and I look after 'Reina & Charlie' - last night we we went for their last walk we were like the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin' as all the local children followed us!
'Reina' is being collected late this evening and them tomorrow morning/lunchtime its time for 'Freddie & Bentley to be collected and then 'Charlie'who is staying with us for an extra night! Then at noon we have the two 'Samoyeds' coming along with Samantha to see us for a possible two day sleep over next weekend?! Watch this space. See 'Charlie' below 'Relaxing'!
Yesterday evening I shot out to take some pictures of the " Vendimia Festival' procession led by the village Brass Band,then the 'Queens' and the new Council dignitary's followed by the 'Tableau' - as you can see in the pictures above - at the same time I took some pictures of the locals 'Sonbrajos along 'Calle Mar'
So today we are keeping a low profile again just looking after the dogs in the house,later I will pop out to get some pictures of the 'Andalucian Horse Parade' and then the grape crushing,if possible! At the moment the two bands are sound checking ready for the 1-00 pm start, they go on until midnight this evening- fingers crossed. See the picture above.
As we were out this morning the Council workmen were cleaning up and then washing down the street ready for today's celebrations
Meanwhile over in Australia its 'Fathers day' so Jack has been sent lots of messages and good wishes for the day from all his extended family and friends, Jack - " Health, Wealth & Happiness " See the picture below;
Today's Stage 14 of the " Vuelta d'Epana' is from Comillas across the mountains to Jitu De Esgaranai over 176 kms. Lewis Hamilton is on the pole position for the' Italian Grand Prix'.later today.
This evening for our supper we are having the " Chicken Curry" that I made the other day with some Basmati Rice and Garden Peas.
