A CLOUDY & SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY;

THURSDAY 10th/ SEPTEMBER 2015.

I was up early this morning after a good nights sleep, the sky is blue and the sun is out, at the moment there are some clouds around, as forecast, but its still very pleasant with the temperature set to rise to 26/27 degs later.By lunchtime it was hot as we set off down to the surgery.The weekend is looking settled with just a small threat of some of the wet stuff on Saturday as a small front crosses over us.

I was listening to " Castle Radio FM 89.2" as I was getting freshened up when our request was played,Andrew Charles the owner/presenter apologized for missing it yesterday, he then played ' Who do you Love' by George Thorogood and the Destroyers - loud! That should wake sunny Manilva up!!

After breakfast 'Freddie & Bentley' arrived for their sleep over, they are being collected first thing tomorrow morning as we are going down to Sabinillas for our weekly shopping; Next week we are back to normal, for now, with 'Reina' here as usual on Tuesday & Thursday.

At lunchtime we are going down to the surgery for our appointments with our Doctor, if she's back from sick leave, for our check ups and to renew our prescriptions.We had a very 'trying' time at the busy surgery, our Doctor is still not back so it was a Relief Doctor, by 1-00 o'clock there is a back up so you have to wait over 30 minutes to be seen; Brenda went in first while I sat outside with the dogs, then I shot in after her!

We both renewed our prescriptions into next year, and had our check ups, I need some new blood tests etc so I'm back a week on Monday for them.We then dashed back to catch our Chemists in 'Calle Mar' before they closed for some new tablets; then I had to call into the 'Health Department' at the Town Hall to make another appointment for a check up with another surgery which only takes place on a Monday afternoon!

When we finally got back to the house we and the two dogs were ' frazzled' so we needed a stiff drink!! The dogs are on water!

This afternoons Stage 18 of the " Vuelta d'Espana15"is from Roa de Duero to Riaza over an hilly 204 kms.

This evening for our supper we are having 'English Pork Sausages' with crispy Smoked Bacon etc ( a soft Mixed Grill) with a fry up of the leftover Vegetables & Potatoes; it will then be time to catch up with all the world news and then channel hop to find something to watch.

Thought for the Day; See above.
