A BREEZY & WARM SUNNY MANILVA ON SUNDAY;

SUNDAY 13th/ SEPTEMBER 2015.

We finally managed a nice lie in this morning in a very quiet & sleepy sunny Manilva; the sun is just breaking through and there is a little light breeze making it rather pleasant for the day ahead, by lunchtime it will reach 29/30 degs, next week is looking settled but a little cooler,normal for this time of the year.

For breakfast we had' Crispy' Smoked Bacon Butties with lots of 'HP' Sauce and a mug of steaming tea; Brenda is having a leisurely morning shampooing her hair,showering and giving her self a make over,I will later have a shave,shower and freshen up before we go out for lunch.

We are going along to' Bar Castillo' for a Al Fresco Tapas/Paella lunch, at the same time I will pop along to 'Maria's Rotisserie' and pick up a spit- roasted Chicken for our supper this evening, it's the Chef's day off along with the 'staff' so we are taking things easy and just relaxing in sunny Manilva taking in the sights,sounds and aromas!

Some 'big' results in yesterdays football both here and over in England; Ronaldo scored FIVE goals as Real Madrid won 0-6, Messi came off the bench and scored the winner as Barcelona won 1-2,his wife gave birth to their second son on Friday so he did not train!

Over in England Everton won 3-1 against Chelsea and made the two 'Brian's' here in sunny Manilva very happy, Manchester City won in the last minute 0-1 and Carlos & Mano celebrated! Then in the late kick off Mancheater Utd. beat Liverpool 3-1

Its the last Stage 21 of the " Vuelta d'Espana15" today as the riders make their way from Alcala de Henares into the center of Madrid over just a mere 98 kms in what is a 'Ceremonial' stage - yesterday the Italian rider Fabio Aru reclaimed the race leaders 'Red' jersey over the four climbs.

This evening after our supper we will catch up with all the news on TVE 1 before finding a film to watch.
