A VERY PLEASANT,WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 19th/ JUNE 2019.

We were both up very early this morning, after very quick freshen up’s, I shot off down to the main ‘ Medical Centre’ in Sabinillas to see our Doctor, Natalia, before her surgery started, she checked my left leg and noted the Hospital report and the medication prescriptions etc, everything is fine, I’m on a seven day course of antibiotics, watch this space.

Back at the house Brenda was welcoming a new ‘ surprise’ dog to ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ – little ‘ Miss’ Bella! – yesterday lunchtime we had a nice ‘Facebook’ message  from ‘Leah’ – asking us if it was possible to look after ‘Bella’ today, at late notice, she’s with us for the day, until later this evening, in the future, later in the year, it will be two days a week, I shot back up to welcome them, she’s a real bundle of joy, a real little character with a very nice temperament, she’s eaten all her breakfast and been out with Brenda for her first walk around the bottom of the village, ‘ welcome’ little ‘ Bella’! No doubt ‘Chispa’ will be calling in to see her.

See her picture below;

She’s settled in very well and is making herself at home, see the pictures below;

I then carried on across to the ‘ Estepona Hospital’ – along the coast road past a sparkling green/blue Mediterranean, for my next appointment at the ‘ Physiotherapy Department’ for more treatment on my left-hand, I had to park at the top of the hill, past the Hospital and then walk back down to ‘ Tikitapi’ for my usual tostado & tea, before crossing to the Hospital.

The main ‘ Medical Centre’ have just called Brenda with an appointment, in August, at the ‘ Dermatology Department’ – she was going down this morning, in the local bus, to arrange it, but cancelled it, as little ‘ Miss’ Bella was being dropped off! She is still going to chase up/ bring forward, at Natalia’s suggestion,  her ‘Heart Consultants ‘ appointment, which is not until October, by arranging a request letter, in Spanish, to the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’  Watch this space.

We have another glorious day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – the sun was out very early and the sky is cloudless and bright blue, there is a slight breeze, making it very pleasant to be out & about, by lunchtime it’s will be 28 degs+ over the next couple of days and the weekend it’s staying warm & sunny, hovering in the high 20s, overnight down to 15/16 degs, with just a few patchy clouds at times, next week is now looking the same, going a little warmer, reaching 30 degs+ again! Watch this space.

All the regular birthday cards have now arrived in the post, in time for Brenda’s birthday on Saturday, I’ve booked a nice window table, at our favourite ‘ Restaurante Macues ‘ – overlooking the ‘Puerto de la Duquesa Marina’ – we are going down in a Taxi.

NB;  Australia, Canada & the UK !!

Yesterday we had a nice ‘ Facebook’ message from Sandra & Bill, over in Everett, Ontario, Canada, after reading about my ‘ exploits ‘ on Monday! She has dealt/treated ‘ Cellultis’ – so we are going to have a ‘ Skype’ video on chat Saturday afternoon, at the same time, as of course it’s Brenda birthday!!

NB; Also a Text message from Jenny, thanks!

This evening for our supper we are having ‘ Grilled Gammon Steaks’ – cooked on a very hot griddle-plate and garnished with seared Button Mushrooms & Pineapple Slices, then topped with ‘Campo’ Fried Eggs! Served with Garden Peas & ‘triple’ cooked ‘ Chips’

This afternoon/evening we will be catching up with all the ‘ Quiz Shows’ that we follow, later channel hopping to find a good film to watch.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
