A STILL VERY GREY & OVERCAST SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY.

THURSDAY 13th/ JUNE 2019.

I was up early, again, this morning and after a very quick freshen up I shot off across to the ‘Estepona Hospital ‘ to the ‘Physiotherapy Department’ for my last appointment this week, with Encarni, the ‘Head Physio’ for treatment on my left hand, I’m back next week for four more days, from Monday to Thursday.

I found a spot to park at the top of the hill, past the Hospital, and then walked back down to ‘Tikitapi’ for my usual tostado & tea, before crossing over for my last session this week. I brought a friend from Manilva back this morning and yesterday, ‘ Sonia’ is having treatment on a strained shoulder.

Back at the house Brenda took ‘ Lolo’ out for his first walk of the day, he’s very quiet at the moment, he’s missing his friend ‘ Scooby’ – ‘Chispa’ is in & out as usual, tomorrow little princess ‘ Reina’ is being dropped off for a sleep-over and late pick up on Saturday.

Overnight the wind has dropped, so this morning as I set off it was still very grey & overcast, the sun was attempting to break through, yesterday afternoon it turned out warm & sunny, after a ‘ dark’ start, so hopefully it will be the same today, later reaching 24 degs+ - with still the threat of the ‘ wet-stuff’ in the air and on the forecasts!

NB; By lunchtime it cleared and was very hot & sunny!

Tomorrow is going to be the same, then over the weekend the very ‘ Hot-Spell’ is starting, hovering on the 29 degs mark, next week going even hotter, on most days reaching 32 degs+ !! We are in for a ‘Hot-One’  Watch this space.

Over in North Wales, in Colwyn Bay, the weather is a little different, to say the least, cold, wet & windy, as you can see below as the promenade at the far end by Old Colwyn, was hit by the storms, meanwhile over here along the coast we had the ‘Mediterranean’ waves crashing onto the beach!

And here!

At lunchtime after our walk with ' Lolo' we called into 'Bar Castillo' for a nice cool drink, our friend Andy came along and joined us, we had a good gossip and catch-up!

Today we are having an ‘ at home day’ – taking things as easy as possible, as it’s the ‘ Staffs’ night off, the ‘Head Chef’ is taking the ‘ Second Chef’ out for supper, along to ‘ Bar Castillo’

Last night after supper we watched the new series, on ITV, a ‘comedy-drama’!? -  starring Hollywood actor Rob Lowe, as the new ‘Chief Constable of Lincolnshire’  based in Boston – “ Wild Bill “ – we had a severed head in a freeze, family problems with his young daughter, a ‘ fat’ local lady Detective, and all the Police force against him, in the end  he saved a women from jumping off the top of a Wind Turbine, that happened to be the one that decapitated her daughters head, that was found in the freeze!!

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
