We all had a little lie in this morning,
little princess ‘ Reina’ spent the night in her duvet, on the floor, by the side
of the bed, little prince ‘Percy’ stayed
on his rug on top of our bed, after freshening up we took him for his first walk
of the day, ‘Reina’ dosen’t do walks, when we came back the ‘ Second Chef’ was
on the breakfast rota, so we had her famous ‘ Campo’ Poached Eggs on Toast,
with mugs of strong tea, to set us up for the day ahead.
We set off as soon as possible this morning
to beat the weather front coming across with the ‘ wet-stuff’ – yesterday the
forecast storms didn’t hit us, in fact the rain only lasted for an hour, then
it was warm & sunny for the rest of the day, at the moment it’s looking
like we are going to get away with it again, it’s cleared the air, a little,
and is due to reach 24 degs+ by lunchtime, tomorrow is going to be the same, at
the start of next week we could have some rain, but then for the rest of the
week and over next weekend it’s staying dry, with patchy clouds, at times,
getting a little hotter, hovering in the high 20s, watch this space.
At the moment Tim & Thea are on the
ferry to Santander, from Portsmouth, on their way down to Mojacar, possibly via
Madrid, to see their daughter Jo, safe journey, hope to see you sometime over
the next six months!
On the sports front this weekend; over in
the ‘ Premier League ‘ Liverpool are down in London to play Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester
City are at home to Fulham, on Sunday Everton welcome West Ham Utd, here in ‘
La Liga’ Real Sociedad are at home to Barcelona & Real Madrid travel up to
play Atheletic Bilbao. Later it’s the Qualifying for the flood lit ‘ Grand Prix
of Singapore ‘
Last night Real Madrid beat Olympiacos 80-69 down in Sabinillas !
See below both teams on the attack !!

La Vuelta 2018 “ which finishes in Madrid tomorrow, it’s from Andorra to Coll
de la Gallina, over 97 kms, with a gruelling 17 kms climb to the finish.
Britain’s Simon Yates took a big step towards winning his first ‘ Grand Tour’
as he increased his lead on yesterdays stage, watch this space.
For our supper this evening we are having ‘
Grilled Fillet Steaks ‘ – cooked on a very hot griddle-plate ‘ Med-Rare’ – then
left to rest, garnished with seared Asparagus Spears, Baby Shallots &
Mushrooms, with finely sliced ‘ French’ Green Beans and twice-cooked ‘ Frits’ –
not forgetting the Dijon Mustard and the classic ‘ Bearnaise’ sauce.
This evening after supper we will settle
down to watch the TV, there is a new series about to start “ Killing Eve “ – a spy
thriller!
