A NOW WARM, VERY CLOSE & SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 17th/ SEPTEMBER 2018.

Just a little lie in this morning, little prince ‘Percy’ spent the night on the bed, he then waits while we get ourselves freshened up, we went for our first walk of the day down to the ‘ Mirador’ and then back up along all his ‘ spots’ – when we returned we had our regular ‘ Weetabix’ toast, fresh fruit & tea.

It’s the start of his third week with us, he’s due to be collected on Saturday, over the weekend ‘ Chispa’ had been in & out as usual, and joined us for a walk also, little princes ‘ Reina’ is back with us, here in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ on Wednesday, for a long day, and possibly back at the weekend for another sleep-over, on Friday ‘ Chico’ is back with us for a two night sleep-over.

This morning has started again, cloudy and overcast, with the threat of rain in the air, as usual, at the moment, the sun is due to break through by lunchtime, reaching 28 degs+ - the rest of the week and over the coming weekend is now looking the same, partly cloudy, getting a little warmer by Saturday, hovering in the high 20s/low 30s, overnight down to 21 degs, with light breeze keeping it cooler in the shade. Next week on all the forecast is looking dry, warm & settled, but still with the threat of the ‘ wet stuff’ around. Watch this space.

PS; It’s just started raining!

We have another relaxing week ahead, I have to make an appointment down at the main Medical Centre in Sabinillas for my 4 x weekly ‘V12’ injection, on Friday I will be back out on my travels down to Sabinillas, again, for the weekly shopping, otherwise we are taking things very easy.

This lunchtime we were going out on a ‘Recce’ to check out some of our favourite restaurants, down on the ‘Costa Del Sol’- to see if they open on Mondays, at the same time we are going to see a possible new one up in Casares, ‘ Restaurante Sarmiento Brasa Andaluza ‘ – at the moment it’s not looking very good, as I checked all their online reviews, none of them are open, this is to find somewhere to go, next Monday, 24th September for my birthday, watch this space.

Just a very quick sports update; Real Madrid could only manage a 1-1 draw, Lewis Hamilton won the ‘Grand Prix of Singapore’ and Simon Yates duly won the ‘La Vuelta 2018 ‘

This evening for our supper we are still keeping it simple, ‘ Grilled Flattened Fillets of Chicken ‘ finished in a Lemon & Balsamic Vinegar Salsa, with finely sliced ‘ French’ Green Beans & thick-cut slices of Baked Potato, dry- sautéed, the rest of the week’s menu’s are still TBC, watch this space.

Last night we settled down to watch the penultimate episode of the excellent and very gripping “ Bodyguard “ on BBC TV 1 – which left us even more confused, as a tense episode raised more questions than it resolved?!  Not a single sniper attack, assassination attempt or suicide mission in sight ! More twists & turn’s, the Prime Minister had been accused of sexual assault, battled drug addiction and had committed financial misconduct!

The bomb was planted under the stage, not in a suitcase, MI5 are up to ‘ dirty tricks’ all over the place, bugging house’s, doctoring video’s etc, including the terrorist bombers plot, on the train, the ‘ Bodyguards’ family are being watched, despite being in a ‘ safe-house’ The Home Secretary’s sacked assistant turned up, with a mystery man in a car, who turned out to be a well known member of a crime family, based in the Cayman islands, all the politicians were colluding to back-stab the Home Secretary, the Police Anti-Terrorism unit, has someone leaking information, finally the Bodyguard was placed on indefinite leave, so he contacted a underworld gangster, for an un-traceable gun, and yes we still don’t know if the Home Secretary is ‘DEAD’ ?! Edge of the seat for next week’s final episode.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
