WEDNESDAY 12th/ SEPTEMBER 2018.
We all had another nice lie in this
morning, little prince ‘Percy’ sleeps all night on our bed and gets up when we
do, after a quick freshen up we took him out for his first walk of the day down
around the bottom of the village, when we returned we had our usual light
breakfast of ‘ Weetabix’ fresh fruit, toast & tea, ‘Percy’ is eating
everything that we give him, he’s a real little character and follows Brenda
everywhere, as usual ‘ Chispa’ is in & out all the time to see us all. ‘
Reina’ is due back with us on Friday/Saturday for a two night sleep-over.
Yesterday we had a call from ‘ Chico’s’ mum, he’s joining us back in ‘Doggy World Heaven’ at the end of next week, for a two day sleep-over, then for nearly two weeks at the end of the month, up to the 12th October, finally he’s going to be with us for two weeks over Xmas, when ‘ Charlie’ could be back with us, as usual, also, watch this space.

Lee called in yesterday evening and was
able to reinstate the new ‘IPTV’- ‘ URL ‘ system onto the ‘ Amazon Fire TV Stick’
– he then reset all the various settings and the main router, eventually it all
came back on, after the main providers technichens/back-up had finished working
on a ‘ Buffing’ problem! ‘Fingers Crossed’ – watch this space.
This morning has started a little overcast
and very close, the clouds are now clearing and the sun is starting to break
through, by lunchtime, like yesterday it’s due to reach 26/27 degs+, tomorrow will
be the same, if not a little warmer, then from Friday and over the weekend we
are in for some of the ‘Wet-Stuff’ as a light breeze brings in the ‘Rain’ and a
little cooler weather at the same time, down to possibly 24/25 degs, next week
is now looking a lot more settled, with warm & sunny weather, hovering in
the high 20s, watch this space.
Today’s Stage 17 of the ‘ La Vuelta 2018’ goes
from Getxo to a mountain top finish in Balcon De Bizkaia, over 157 kms, in the ‘
Basque’ region ( Euskadi) of Northern Spain.

This evening for our supper we are having ‘Pan-Seared
Escalopes of Lambs Liver’ – lightly dusted in seasoned flour, garnished with
Grilled English Pork Sausages & Smoked Back Bacon, accompanied with a rich ‘
Red Wine, Onion/Shallot & Mushroom’ salsa, with Baby Carrot Batons &
Diced Baby Turnips, Garden Peas and my now famous ‘ Rissole’ Potatoes,
diced/boiled local potatoes, tossed in foaming Brown Parsley Butter until crisp
and brown all over!
After supper we will be hopefully be able
to channel hop, again, to find something to watch.
