Our last little lie in for this week, so we
took advantage of the very quiet village, despite the sounds, of the ‘
Contractors’ workmen up in ‘ Calle Mar’ who are working longer & faster,
than normal, as they start the task of laying the new flagstones/kerbing, which
has now been delivered from Seville. Watch this space.
Brenda had her shower, first, I’m having
mine later, we then had our regular light breakfast of ‘ Weetabix’ fresh fruit,
toast & tea, no company in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ today, this afternoon the
new dog, ‘ Nelly’ a whippet is coming to see us, she’s joining us on Saturday
for a short spring break until next Friday, this afternoon I’m going down to
the main ‘Medical Centre’ for my second ‘ B12 Vitamin’ injection, before she
arrives.
Tomorrow morning we are going across to
Estepona, I’m calling into my Barber, Manuel, for the full, overdue’ works,
Brenda needs some cosmetics from her favourite shop, we then have some other
port of calls planned, the ‘ Hypermarket-Carrefour’ for replacement kitchen crockery
etc, and then ‘ La Casa’ for night lights etc, then on Friday morning we are up
very early to go across to the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’ for Brenda’s
re-arranged ‘Ecocardigram’ Finally on Saturday I’m back out on my travels, down
to Sabinillas, for our weekly shopping.
We have another beautiful day down here on
the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – the sun was out early, the sky is bright blue, there is
slight breeze, keeping the clouds away, for now, by this afternoon it due to
reach 18/19 degs+ - tomorrow it’s the same, but then on Friday and over the
weekend we are in for a change in the weather, it’s going cooler, cloudy and
then the ‘ April Showers’ are hitting us again, carrying on into next week,
watch this space.
At lunchtime we went up to ' Bar Rojas' for a cool drink, sat in the very hot sunshine, Mano came along and joined us for beer or two!
For our supper this evening we are having ‘ Pan-Seared Lambs Liver ‘ – dusted in seasoned flour, then cooked in foaming Lemon Butter, garnished with Grilled English Pork Sausages, Crispy Spanish Smoked Bacon & Button Mushrooms, accompanied with Cabbage with Acelgas, Glazed Batons of Carrots and the rest of the ‘ Lyonnaise’ Potatoes.

This afternoon/evening we will watch our
regular ‘Quiz’ shows that we follow ‘ Countdown, Pointless, Eggheads, Only
Connect, Mastermind and the final of University Challenge’- then later I will
channel-hop and find a good film to watch.
