We were up very early this morning as
Brenda had her appointment down at the main ‘ Medical Centre’ with our Doctor,
Natalia, for her check up/review, Lee was taking her down, as there is still no
news of the car, he didn’t drop little princess ‘Reina’ off as arranged, as
Daniela’ was off colour and stayed at home with her, he’s also taking me down
tomorrow morning, after dropping ‘Reina’ off, as I have my appointment with
Natalia, also, for my check up/review. Brenda was in & out very quickly so
she shot to catch the bus back up, which didn’t appear, so she jumped in a
taxi, to bring her back up to the village.
I then had a little lie in before
freshening up and preparing breakfast for when Brenda returned, ‘ Toasted
Crispy Smoked Bacon Butties’ – open on Brown for Brenda with mugs of tea, her ‘ECG’
tests were just OK, Natalia has adjusted one of her tablets to help, she has to
go back in two weeks for a review, meanwhile I can’t make the appointment for
my second ‘ B12 Vitamin’ injection until we have the car back, possibly this
evening, as Pedro has just rung to let us know what is happening, next week, on Monday lunchtime, I have my
six-month review with the ‘Prostate’ Consultant across at the Hospital past
Marbella, then early on Tuesday morning I have my re-arranged ‘ X-Ray’
appointment on my hand, at the local hospital in Estepona.
All this is happening to keep the two ‘ Old
Age Pensioners ‘ going – ‘ Keep taking the tablets ‘- as our Doctor says!!

This morning the sun broke through earlier
and the clouds have now cleared, the sky is blue and there is a slight breeze,
making it ‘ crisp’ but sunny, by lunchtime it’s due to reach 19 degs+ - it's now very hot & sunny, the
rest of the week and over the weekend is looking dry, with clouds at times, no
wet stuff on the forecast at the moment, the overall temperatures are hovering
on the 21 degs mark, going a little cooler over the weekend and into next week,
when there could be some rain ( April Showers ) on the horizon, watch this

See below a picture taken yesterday evening
of the ‘ Orchid House & Gardens’ in the centre of
Estepona.
At lunchtime we popped along to the local Bank in 'Calle Mar' for some cash from the machine, we them came back to ' Bar Rojas' and sat outside in the hot sunshine, taking in the sights, sounds and people of sunny Manilva, with a cool drink, the ' Contractor's' new workmen have started laying the first flags as the top of the street, all the locals are saying ' 6 months' before it's all finished, watch this space.
