SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY;

TUESDAY 14th/ OCTOBER 2014.

This morning little princess ‘Reina’ was dropped off first thing so we shot back up to bed and promptly all fell asleep until 10-00am! Overnight the rains came but this morning, at the moment, its warm and sunny; the forecast was for some rain today and then it’s getting better for the rest of the week, dry and sunny and getting a little warmer ‘Scruffy’ is arriving at lunchtime for the rest of the day, in fact its for a sleep-over now !

The front comes in from the Atlantic and crosses over Portugal before it swirls up Spain and then France and into the rest of Europe; the front hitting the UK is straight off the Atlantic. Brenda’s sisters Norah & Jenny arrived back early on Monday morning after their flight was delayed for 4 hours and did not take off from Faro in Portugal until 11-00pm! They had some of the wet and stormy weather for the last couple of days in Albuferira!

So after breakfast I shot around the butchers for something for tonight’s supper; we are going to have ‘Chicken Schnitzels’ as he had no Calves Liver, he fillets a large Breast of Local Chicken into Escalopes, I use the local bakeries fresh breadcrumbs and the egg-wash is made with Campo Eggs! We are having ‘Spaghetti Milanese’ using my own Tomato salsa, the ‘Schnitzels’ are pan-fried in foaming Lemon Butter and then garnished with Anchovy Fillets & Capers, mine is topped with a Campo Fried Egg!! See below.

Tomorrow morning I’m making a large pan of my famous Chicken Curry for supper which we will have with Brenda’s Basmati Rice.

Just arrived in is a picture that has been published by the press department of the Royal Household of the ‘Queen of Skelton’ It’s a very fine picture taken over the weekend and shows the happy Royal couple on the beach in Skelton in Cleveland – ‘Up North!’ The Queen (Josie) and her Consort (Dennis) look very relaxed and informal – it could be on the next ‘Stamp’ or even a postcard!! See below.

The informal picture below 'Possibly- Alelegely' shows Den leaving his ' Initial's' in the sand " Josie says that he was adjusting his 'Camera' !!

Brenda is catching up with the ironing at the moment as it’s not a very good drying day I’m told, it’s defiantly an at home day. We are back reading in the afternoons until it goes a little dark, we don’t like having the main light on in the lounge as it makes in too bright!

So after supper we will catch up with all the news, sport and weather updates before finding something to watch,its not a good film night so I will channel hop until I find something.

PS; Great news,Lilli is arriving at Malaga airport on Friday afternoon,I'm picking her up from the bus station over in Marbella in the early evening !!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
