A WARM AND SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY;

TUESDAY 28th/ OCTOBER 2014.

I was up early this morning to welcome little princess ‘Reina’for the day, for a change thanks to the hour going back it was light; the sun was out and the forecast up to the weekend is fine with more sun and clear blue skies, its gradually getting a little warmer at the same time.

We had our usual breakfast and sorted out the menus for the next couple of days, this evening we are having flattened Chicken Breast cooked in foaming Lime Butter with whole Green Beans and sautéed new potatoes, then on Wednesday its going to be Grilled Gammon Steak with Garden Peas and twice-cooked ‘Frits’ – topped with Grilled Pineapple and ‘Campo’ Fried Eggs! + HP sauce!!

At lunchtime I’m going across to Estepona for some X-Rays at the local hospital in the center of the town, it just an outpatients/treatment centre, the X-Ray department is very efficient and is run by one man, my appointment is for 13-01pm and I will come out in a few minutes with my X-Rays! Then its back to see our Doctor tomorrow morning – fingers crossed!

Over in the UK ‘Up North’ in Skelton the ‘Queen’ is on an official state visit to Newcastle taking in some culture, retail therapy and fine dining – more details to follow from her press secretary and possibly some pictures. Just in - see below.

Some local news about a Brazilian Man Nico Ferreira who is married to the daughter of a very good friend of Mano’s, Juan, we have know him from when we first arrived in sunny Manilva all those years ago; he’s a professional motor bike race taking part in the ‘Moto 1000cc GP’over in the USA, he rides for the ‘Aclat’ team. See the picture below.

This evening after supper we will as usual catch up with all the news, sport and weather details before finding something to watch.

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
