A STILL VERY WARM AND SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY;

TUESDAY 7th/OCTOBER 2014.

I was up first this morning as little princess ‘Reina’ was arrving early, she is back on Thursday morning, also’ a little change in the bookings as ‘Scruffy’ is not with us this afternoon as Rose has car problems so he’s coming for a sleep-over on Friday evening.

So as we were having our usual breakfast we had a late menu planning meeting; we went for a walk with the dog ‘Chispa’is still not allowed out at the moment but Brenda calls in to see her and took her some Chicken last night, I called into the butchers for some ‘Pork Chops’ (cut ‘English’ style) for tonight’s supper’ and also picked up some ‘Braising’ steak for tomorrow night.

This evening we are having the ‘Pork Chop’ baked in the oven and served with crushed Baby Carrots & Turnips,Diamond cut Green Beans and ‘Breton’ style Potatoes, with pan gravy.I ve just sautéed off the Onions and Red & Green Peppers to go with the potatoes this evening, See the picture below.

At the same time I’ve got ready the “Braised Steak” with Onions & Vegetables for Wednesday’s supper as we are out tomorrow morning over at the hospital in Marbella for my ‘Prostrate’ check-up with my Consultant. On the way back we are calling into the shopping mall ‘La Canada’ for some things for Brenda this time and also we will take Brenda’s passport into the bank in Estepona to be processed.

It’s warm and sunny this morning and it’s looking like it will stay the same through the week and over the weekend. The rest of Spain has settled down, the weather front went across France and then hit England with severe storms and high winds, up in Skelton the ‘Queen and her ‘Consort’ reported that it was ‘P-----g’ down there! She is obviously not ‘Amused’!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
