A WARM AND SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY;

THURSDAY 9th/ OCTOBER 2014.

Little princess ‘Reina’ arrived early this morning for the day, she’s back next week on Tuesday & Thursday, tomorrow afternoon ‘Scruffy’ is here for a sleep over in ‘Doggy World Heaven’

The sun was out first thing again this morning and it’s already warm and sunny in Manilva but its looking like we will get a little bit of the wet stuff tomorrow morning when we are out for our usual Friday shopping!

Just as we were finishing our breakfast the ‘Skype’ video alarm went of, it was Tim from over in Old Colwyn, he was calling for a chat and news update, the main bit of news was that by this time next year he and Thea could be living here in Spain! They are planning to move across as Thea’s work commitments sort themselves out, it sound like they are planning to be in the area around Almeria up the coast from Malaga but  still in Andalusia, so we will be able to go and visit them and likewise they can come down to sunny Manilva!!

I’ve posted below a picture of the severe storm with lighning & thunder that hit North Wales yesterday as it was over Old Colwyn, Tim’s house and the Bay – meanwhile we were in a very hot and sunny Marbella – 31degs! One ' Helluva Storm'

We have just been for a short walk with the dog down to the butchers for some more Braising steak to go with last nights leftover sauce for tonight’s supper, it was rather delicious, we are having some of Brenda’s famous Mashed Potatoes and mixed Garden Peas & Baby Carrots ‘Reina’ is asleep under my feet as I’m typing the Blog.See the picture below of tonight's supper!

Meanwhile over in Skelton the ‘Queen’ is on a royal visit to see an exhibition of ‘Grayson Perry Tapestries’- sadly her ‘Consort’is not accompanying her as he has to be in work, it helps to keep her in the style that she is accustomed too! She has left behind her ‘Tranny Gear’ and is wearing for the occasion ‘Doc Marten’ Boots and a ‘Next’ Biker jacket, so I’m informed by the local Royal Correspondent in Skelton!! Enjoy!!

So today we are having a nice at home day taking things easy and doing nothing in particular, as I’ve said before it’s because we can! In fact Brenda has just started scraping the deep freeze!! I’ve just called her to come up to the office to proof-read the Blog, a job she does every day!

Tonight after supper we will watch the ‘European Championship’ qualifying matches on TVE 1 as Slovakia welcome Spain and England welcome San Marino, which I will follow upstairs in the office on my sports ‘IT’ Channel.

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
