ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 12th/ MARCH 2019.

I was up very early this morning and after a quick freshen up I shot off across to the Estepona Hospital for my first new appointment at the ‘Physiotherapy Department ‘ – it’s going to be four mornings a week, from Monday to Thursday, but a little later, meaning I won’t have to be up so early, but it will be more difficult to park, watch this space.

‘ Chico’ has settled in very well and is into our routine, he slept all night on his rug at the foot of our bed and this morning Brenda took him out for his first walk of the day around the bottom of the village.

We have yet another glorious day ahead down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol ‘ – the sun was out first thing and the overnight light breeze had cleared away all the clouds, the sky was bright blue as I set off, by lunchtime it’s due to reach 21 degs+ - a little cooler than yesterday when it went up to 24 degs by the mid-afternoon! The rest of the week is now looking dry & settled with warm sunshine and just a few patchy clouds at times, hovering in the low 20s, by Saturday back to 23 degs+ - in time for the ‘ Carnival Parade’ in the early evening, next week is going  much colder and rather ‘ damp’ as a new ‘ Atlantic’ front comes in from next Sunday, bringing with it a windy front with lots of the ‘ wet-stuff’ ?!  Watch this space.

PS; On the Council Web-Page it's showing the Parade is on Sunday lunchtime and below on the poster?!

This afternoon we will be watching the “ Cheltenham Festival “ – the pinnacle of ‘National Hunt Jump Racing’ – taking place over the next 5 days, with the excellent coverage on ‘ITV’

On the ‘Menu’ front for this week; this evening, for a change, we are having ‘ Homemade Burgers’ from our local Butcher, I have three sorts, Beef, Pork & Chicken, Brenda has requested my special ‘ Cheese Burger ‘ using ‘ Gouda’ – I’m having my special ‘ Bacon & Campo Egg Burger’ –they both have crispy Coz Lettuce, sliced Plumb Tomato & Gherkins, served on a toasted Burger Bap, accompanied with a basket of ‘ Stringfellows ‘ – hand-cut by Brenda and twice-cooked by the ‘ Head Chef’!

On Wednesday evening it’s going to be ‘Pan-Seared Chicken Wings’ with a Baked Potato, then on Thursday ‘ Omelettes of Choice ‘ – Friday is a ‘ Fish n’ Chip’ Supper with Mushy Peas, Saturday will be our regular ‘ Steak Night’ and Sunday it still TBC, watch this space.

This evening after supper we will be watching the next exciting and very gripping latest episode of “ Shetland “ as Detective Perez and his team delve into the murky world of ‘Trafficking’ along with the gruesome murders, watch this space.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
