A VERY WINDY AND NOW SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 27th/ MARCH 2019.

I was up very early this morning to welcome back little princess ‘ Reina’ for the day, she as usual shot into her duvet, she’s due to be picked up this evening, when Lee is going to hopefully reset the ‘IPTV’ system which has gone off again (Fingers Crossed!) - as they have not yet sent a new ‘URL’?!

I then slowly freshened up before shooting off across to the ‘ Estepona Hospital ‘ for my next appointment at the ‘ Physiotherapy Department’ I was lucky again and found a parking spot straight away, so I had a nice relaxing tostado & tea in ‘ Tikitapi’ before going across to the Hospital.

As I returned Simone, from Sotogrande, arrived with the lovely ‘ Sunny’ – she’s a two year old ‘Water Dog ‘  - which we have fallen in love with, she’s going to be with us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven ‘ for the last two weeks of August, she is also coming to stay for a sleep over before then to get used to us and ‘Sunny Manilva’!

See the picture below of ‘ Sunny’ back home on the sofa, ‘ conked out’ – after the excitement of meeting us!

As I set off this morning it was very windy and cold, with patchy clouds local and black one over the mountains, on the way across to Estepona along the coast road the ‘Mediterranean’ waves where crashing in, onto the beach, as you can see below;

By lunchtime it was still very windy, if fact the whole of the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ is on ‘ Yellow/Orange Alert’ for more strong winds, it’s due to reach only 16 degs max by this afternoon, the rest of the week and over the weekend is now looking the same, wet, windy and cool, hovering in the mid ‘teens’ at 16/17 degs+ - next week, at the moment, is not looking much better, but by the following weekend we could have the sun back in sunny Manilva, watch this space.

See below last night’s sunset from the top of the ‘Sierra Bermaja’  mountain – by the side of the village.

Sorry I have lost the picture!

I then made this evenings supper; my now famous  ‘ Chicken & Mushroom Curry’ with Brenda’s equally famous ‘ Basmati Rice’! We are giving Lee a ‘ Take-Out’ for his supper!! Tomorrow evening is going to be find something in the fridge day, then on Friday it’s ‘ Fish ‘ night and on Saturday ‘ Steak’ night, before our special ‘ Mothering Sunday ‘ –  “ Roast Aged Sirloin of Beef “  with all the trimmings.

Hopefully this evening we will be able to catch up with all the ‘ Quiz Shows & programmes that we have missed, watch this space.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
