A ' FRESH & SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 25th/ MARCH 2019.

I was up early this morning, for the first time this week, as I’m across at the ‘Estepona Hospital’ for the next four days, at the main  ‘Physiotherapy Department’ for more extensive treatment on my left-hand, I had a quick freshen up and was lucky to find the choice of two spots to park, so I had my usual tostado & tea in ‘ Tikitapi’ before crossing to the Hospital.

Just as I returned ‘ Scruffy’ was dropped off for the day, with us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven ‘ as Adrian has an appointment at the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’ – he’s being collected later, ‘Chispa’ has all ready called in to see him, as usual she’s in & out all the time. Later this week we have some new dogs coming to see us, for later in the year, ' Sunny ' on Wednesday and 'Minnie & Summer' TBC!

On Tuesday afternoon Brenda has her appointment with our Doctor, Natalia, down at the main ‘Medical Centre’ for a review/check-up, I will be back out on my travels, down to Sabinillas, for the weekly shopping on Friday morning.

As I set off the sun was out and the sky was clear & cloudless, as there was a stiff ‘ Lavente’ breeze blowing up from the Mediterranean, it’s keeping the ‘ wet-stuff’ away for now, by lunchtime it’s forecast to reach 19 degs+ as I returned the breeze had dropped slightly and it was warm on the sunny side of the street, tomorrow we are in for more of the same, but the breeze is increasing to a stiff wind, hopefully keeping the rain away, the rest of the week is looking windy, cooler and with the threat of the ‘ wet-stuff’ coming back, next week, at the moment is looking similar, hovering in the mid ‘ teens’ – watch this space.

Over the weekend Sandra sent us a picture of her out in a very sunny Everett, Ontario, Canada, where ‘ Spring’ has arrived, she is drinking ‘ A Flight of Ciders’?!

See below;

At lunchtime on our walk with ' Scruffy' we ended up back at ' Bar Castillo' - sat outside on the very warm & sunny side of the street, for a nice cool drink and Tapas, a Crab Salad to start and 'Pork a la Plancha ' with crispy Bread & Frits,

This evening we are having ‘Cold Roast Lemon Chicken’ with all the Vegetables and ‘ Goose-Fat Roast Potatoes, the Menu’s for the rest of the week are being agreed later, watch this space.

PS; ' Pan-Seared Lambs Liver & Smokey Bacon ' with a Mushroom & Onion Salsa, tomorrow night and then on Wednesday my famous ' Chicken & Mushroom Curry ' - for our ' Mothers Day Roast ' on Sunday we are having " Roast Aged Sirloin Of Beef " with all the trimmings.

Last night after supper we settled down to watch the final episode of “ Baptiste “ I won’t give the ending away, only to say that there was a surprise assassination attempt on two of the main characters, the conspirator in the Police was uncovered, two more shootings at the end, with one of main characters being killed and the other shot in the arm!  Watch it to find out who!! Next week in the same slot the excellent very exciting & gripping “ Line of Duty’ returns.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
